Question of the Day

Today's question of the day is a fill in the blank.

My biggest pet peeve is__________.

I'll go ahead and answer. My biggest pet peeve is when people come up to talk to me at the gym. If I know you, then that's fine. If I don't...well then I have my headphones in for a reason!

(Dear God..did I just put a LOL cats pic up? *sigh*)

Let's hear those answers!

My pet peeve is when people can't defend their decisions. If you're going to do something then you should have the ability to defend it. If you have to lie about it then it's probably something you shouldn't be doing anyway. There would probably be a whole lot fewer asinine decisions if people would live that way.

It's not my biggest pet peeve, but it annoys the heck out of me when people pronounce "for" as "fer" or "fur." I know I do it sometimes, too, but it's just annoying!

My "biggest pet peeve" changes all of the time. But one of my biggest is when people spell congratulations "congradulations." Ugh, makes me want to scream every time! I said this and then accidentally spelled peeve wrong... Karma! :)

Oh to choose just one?

My biggest superficial type pet peeve is food eating noise makers...smacky smackersons, talking with your mouth full, scraping teeth on your spoon or fork, etc etc.

::shivers::

Mine is when people scrape their teeth on their utensils! Especially spoons...my head literally wants to explode when this happens. It's a spoon!!!! Use your lips!!!!! Gah!!!

I'm with SS... I hate all mouth noises! my family teases me about it! And I hate when people on Facebook or Twitter spell things obviously wrong. Like "Wat up wit plans fa tonite." Drives. Me. CRAZY!

One of my biggest ones is when people know a lane on the road ends, but they stay in it anyway. And then they rev it up to try to beat other people out. My favorite ever, though, is when a group of cars bans together to not let the jackass in--be strong, brothers!

One of my biggest pet peeves (I have many) is when people come in to get their hair done, use hair stylist lingo, but really don't know what they are talking about. For example, telling me you want to go lighter and have highlights, with only demi-permanent color. Impossible.

Basically coming to me to get your hair done, wanting awesome results, but acting like you know more than me. If you know so much more than I do, then you do your own hair.

Okie doke... rant much? :P

Hey, don't be hatin' the lawlcats! ;)

I was a member of Curves for a while, and part of the "program" is community and open encouragement among members. You were weighed and measured every month, and when you lost pounds and/or inches, it was announced to much fanfare. It was sort of the thing to go, "Hey, have you dropped a size? You look great!" even if you didn't know the other woman. So when I joined a "regular" gym, I made the mistake of saying that to a woman working out next to me. The death stare I got pretty much cured me of any future gym niceness!

I have a lot of really superficial pet peeves...today I was annoyed by the people going super slow in the super fast lane of the highway.
I also got annoyed by people on Facebook that have every single picture/post/update read something like this "OMG! My *super hot* and *amazing* husband just bought me a _____. I have the *BEST* life!" Or the people that post really private stuff on their friend/hubby's wall just so other people can read it.
Maybe I'm in a bad mood today? I seem kind of snarky:-) haha

I hate when people constantly say they need to loose weight but do nothing about it and engorge themselves on the fattest foods they can find.

I also hate it when people bring drama into your life just because you don't have any and they want to share.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when you're talking and someone cuts you off mid sentence to say whatever they want to say. I'm like Ohhh no I wasn't speaking or anything.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people leave their bluetooth headset in their ear 24/7.. especially when you're trying to have an important conversation and all you can focus on is the damn blue light blinking from their ear!

Little pet peeve: they're vs. their vs. there/lose vs. loose/etc.

Big pet peeve: Attention whores.

Seriously?! That makes me feel insanely cool because I think you're super cool so the more things we have in common - the cooler I am by association. I think that's how it works anyway!

I'm so glad you know what I'm talking about. I found a sixteen second clip of George W sayin' "stratergery" but no original lockbox statements. Though if you're interested - there is a SNL clip of Al Gore doing his presidental goodbye in "an alternate universe." I loved SNL in high school.

Oh and my biggest pet peeve... is people who don't clean out their ears or brush their teeth - I guess that's two but basic hygeine is very, very important to me.

I have lots of pet peeves too but one of the biggest one is that I hate when someone leaves the shower curtain open. It'll never dry out that way!

I have a lot of little things that would bug me...the biggest: in considerate people walking the earth. Let's just all get along?

hahahaha i'm loving the picture.

i understand about the gym thing. i don't really like it when people that work there come up to me, unless i know them. they're just trying to be friendly & doing their job, but geez, do we have to strike up a conversation while i'm sweating on the elliptical?!?
