What a deal!

Yesterday I was reading through out post newspaper, The Guardian, since there really wasn't anything to do at work. A snippet about a cruise caught my eye. I'm sure some of you out there are familiar with the BOSS group on Army posts (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers). They take a lot of trips and do fun activities, but they are taking a couple of trips this fall that people other than single soldiers are able to participate in. One of these is a cruise to Cozumel over the Labor Day weekend. The price for active duty and their families is only $200 a piece! That is an excellent deal on a cruise, plus BOSS will be shuttling us to and from New Orleans. You cannot beat that!

I'm working on getting Sean to go. Several of the single guys in his unit, who happen to be his friends are going and I pointed out that if they are able to go then there should be no reason why he is not able to go. Besides, I'm sure they'll be having a long weekend over Labor Day. He suggested that I just go, but what fun is that? I've already been to Cozumel, so I don't want to go just by myself. I thought it could be a fun sort of delayed honeymoon for Sean and I.

The funniest thing about this whole trip is that it's an Elvis Cruise. You know one of those cruises where they have all the impersonators and Elvis shows while you're cruising? I think that would be hilarious! Here's the link if you want to check it out and laugh!

Anyway, I'm going to try my hardest to convince Sean to go by the end of the week. If we don't hurry up then it's going to be booked up!
