MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

Join in over at Wife of a Sailor!

1.Do you or your {spouse} ever wish your {spouse} was in a different branch of the military?
Yeah, we've discussed that we wish we were Air Force sometimes. I think there's a lot of great options regarding duty stations and I think overall their bases are better than Army posts.

2.What duty station(s) are on your “No Way, Hell No, Not Going, Have Fun Unaccompanied” list and why?
I actually don't really have any on my list. I'm pretty much ok with wherever we get sent. Although I could do without Ft. Bragg or Ft. Hood. I don't like huge posts and those are the two biggest. Sean doesn't want to be sent to Ft. Drum or either post in Alaska. He hates the cold.

3.If you could be one age forever, what age would you choose and why?
Anywhere from 25- to my current age of 27. I'm older, wiser and still don't have a lot of wrinkles.

4.If you were a breakfast cereal, which one would you be?
Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds. It's quite simply the best!

5.What is your morning beverage of choice and why?
Currently? Either coconut milk smoothies or raw milk. In the summer I like to put OJ and fresh strawberries in the blender and drink that.

I've been so curious about coconut milk--I love coconut, but don't know how I'd feel about it in liquid form. Maybe if it's anything like a pina colada... ha!

Great list! There seems to be a general belief that Air Force bases are great and I certainly concur...one reason being that there are so many in England and that is where I would love to be!

Yay for another wife in Italy! I've never tried coconut milk. Sounds interesting.

Air Force is a branch we would consider, too. They were really, really good to Josh when he was in the Guard....and it seemed that they were good to all of their people!! Also, I wouldn't mind being stationed in the panhandle of Florida :)

I'm with you on the age. It would be nice to be able to stop the aging process right now at the age of 27....it's a good age to be physically, mentally, and emotionally :)

The Air Force has been good to us! We have alot of cross overs. Your hubby can cross green to blue. We have two guys in the tower who did. Although I love the air force, I wish we would have gone some where other than New Jersey! lol
