Clothes, Tests and Thanks

Thanks to everyone who commented yesterday. It's good knowing that I have a big support system out there in blog land.

As I mentioned last week, I've started looking into getting my Masters. I took a big step towards that yesterday and checked out the most recent studyguide for the GRE.

Looking at it, I'm a little intimidated. Not so much by the verbal or essay writing sections, but by the analytical section.

I suck at math. Seriously I do. I'm down with the basics, but algebra? geometry? Forget about it. Math was my lowest section on my ACT by far. I just hate it, I don't have a mathematical mind. So, I'm going to have to study A LOT for that portion.

So I saw the funniest thing yesterday. Sean and I had to go home 3 times yesterday morning because he had forgotten things. Don't ask... Anyway, as we are driving through our little town this car pulls out in front of the car in front of us and starts going really slow. The car honks, both cars pull to the side of the road and both men get out and start yelling at each other. I've heard that this happens, but I had never seen it actually happen. It was HILARIOUS!

For starters that would NEVER happen in the U.S. I mean if someone starts honking at you, you don't stop and get out, you just keep going. Well, at least I would.

Now, without further ado...another session of cute clothes to buy at Forever21.

Perfect pink bracelet for summer and spring.

Perfect casual top with some cute jeans and wedges.

An interesting hem for a little office spice.

Perfect for sipping margaritas at a summer party no?

Ciao!

I love the B&W dress. I almost ordered it. Instead I ordered that black lace neck dress. Did you see it? Hope you're having a good one!

There's no way I would stop my car if someone was honking at me! How funny that they do that in Italy!

Super cute finds at Forever 21! Funniest thing, downtown they have a Forever 18, seriously! Hands down, doesn't even compare to 21....

Cute finds and crazy story! You wouldn't see me getting out of my car!

As for math and the GRE.... I'm like you. I'm horrible at math... mainly geometry. I can hold my own in algebra and the basics. Math sections are always my lowest scores on standardized tests. However, on the GRE I actually did slightly better on the math section than I did on the verbal. And a couple of my friends (who also usually score lower on math than verbal) did the same thing. So don't be too worried about the math! :)

Good luck with the math! I know exactly what you mean, my math scores have always been the lowest on everything I do. Be it the ACT or SAT or just a plain old math test in a class with stuff we were studying JUST that week. I can't hold my own in anything without a calculator. =]
The driving story is too funny! Back home if you did that you run the risk of something happening to your car or to yourself. Scary thought.

I feel like ForeverXXI has better clothes online than you can ever find in the stores.

And I hope the next time such yelling is video taped and immediately passed on to us :)

i'm too scared to wear clothes at forever21. they seem too.... put together... too sophisticated... too matchy. i just don't know HOW to wear forever21 clothes. does this look good with this? and leggings? seriously, i've never been able to put together an outfit with leggings. not that i don't want to, just that i lack the fashion sense to be able to do it.

so yeah. :P i like seeing what YOU pick out, it's like a light in the darkness. :]]]

Cute tops! That's dangerous!! I can't do ANY shopping right now!

LOL the guys pulling over and yelling reminds me of in September, when my ex and I were driving back to his barracks. I had asked him to drive after we stopped for food, and out of habit, I got into the driver's seat, and we kept going. We realized as soon as we got on the highway, and he told me to pull over so we could swap seats. When he got out of the car, he walked around it, waving his arms and acting like he was yelling at me, even though he wasn't. I laughed, although I was slightly embarrassed.

And I suck at math too. I hate having to do it in my head.
