Up Close and Personal (A Tag)

So I've been tagged by Mrs. Forever over at A Housewife's Journey to Forever and I always love a good tag, so here it goes.

Top Four Wishes:

1. I wish I could magically lose 10-15 more lbs and not have to work really hard at it.

2. I wish I could someday be a great photographer and make money doing it!

3. I wish I had the style of Stacy London and the decorating sense of Martha Stewart.

4. That I could become fluent in any language.

Four places I want to travel to:

1. Australia- there's something about the Land Down Under that I really want to experience. Minus the poisonous snakes and scary spiders.

2. Greece- I've wanted to go there forever and everytime I see pictures of it I get this longing to experience it.

3. Africa- namely somewhere I can go on a safari. It's on my list of places to see before I die.

4. Normandy(France)- specifically Omaha Beach and that area. Just thinking of what it must have been like on D-Day gives me goosebumps.

Four careers I want to be involved in:

1. Photographer- I love everything about photography. I constantly think in my head what would make a good picture. I'm not sure I want to go into wedding photography or the likes of that, but I do love taking pictures of babies and those I love.

2. Librarian- I'd really like to be a elementary librarian. I loved working at a library a few years ago and I've wanted to be a librarian ever since.

3. Professional blogger- If I could get paid to blog or even have my blogs published in a book would be awesome! I want to write like Jen Lancaster!

4. Mom- One of these days when I'm ready I do want to be an awesome mom.

Four things I would like God to say to me at the gates of Heaven:

1. So you finally made it!

2. I've got some people I want you to meet

3. Now's your chance to ask me all those questions you've been saving up for years

4. See that lovely mansion over there? Second one down? Yeah...that's yours!

Four people I tag:

1. Mrs. Newlywed

2. Rebecca at My Cup Overflows

3.Lindsey at Learning to be a Wife

4.Whitney at Glamorous Life of a Housewife

It sounds like we were meant to be friends. I love love love Jen Lancaster, and of course, Greece. Plus, I am getting my Masters in Library Science so I can be an elementary librarian! We are bloggy soul mates!

You will have to go to Greece once you get here!

hey New girl!
I was reading up on my wife's daily activities and figured I'd read up on her new found friend at Polk. Since I'll be meeting you shortly (New years???) i thought I'd say hi!

also, i was gonna comment on your top places to visit and i can truthfully say that I've visited 3 of your top 4:

Greece - Pompey, Athens and a cruise thru the Mediterranean, including a stop in nearby Turkey. (beautiful country, but i found the people less than friendly...)

Africa - I went on a Mission Trip to Zambia for a month and went to a wildlife safari and came within 3 feet of a Jaguar, elephants, and Rhinos...all without fences or cages, very 'wild.' the coolest part was watching a mother and father lion team up on a pack of zebras, while the cub followed in the father's exact footsteps 50 feet behind, all from an open top Jeep.

France - While I did not visit Omaha Beach, I saw the coastline of France coming from England, where they still have the metal spikes you see at the beginning of Saving Private Ryan. It's on my list along with the numerous WW II cemeteries and museums.

and thanks for entertaining my wife on her lil trip to LA.

it's mark btw, isn't Sara the coolest, hottest wife?
