I'll be honest that I love the traditional Christmas songs: Silent Night, Oh Come All Ye Faithful, O, Holy Night, etc.
I get a kick out of all the songs that are funny at maybe not at all appropriate...like "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" and "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas"
I love Jackie singing that song...it gives me chills!
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree makes me think of Home Alone :)
I adore O Holy Night, O Come Emanuel, I'll Be Home For Christmas...apparently the traditional stuff. Plus, you can't beat Mariah's "All I Want for Christmas"!
That being said, I hate hate hate Little Drummer Boy. And Baby It's Cold Oustide (Date rape song, much?).
I love those...I have to say that O Holy Night is my favorite, but all of the traditionals I just adore. I love this time of year so much!
We had an Andy Williams Christmas CD growing up, and I still love listening to it.
Funny thing...as much as my mom and I loved the cd my dad hated the song Most Wonderful Time of the Year because....he hated the line "scary ghost stories." He always thought that was stupid in a Christmas song. Of course now everytime I hear the song I think of it...but still like it!
I love all of these Christmas songs! My two other favorites are Mele Kalikimaka and The Chipmunk Song :)
