Photograph Friday

So...I'm sort of borrowing this idea from Megan and her Flashback Fridays so I hope she doesn't mind.

Anywho..because I've had one of THOSE days the last two days I'm going to do a post that will bring back some good memories and hopefully make me not want to strangle someone.

The following pictures are from our Alaskan cruise. It was my graduation present and it was awesome. I fell in love with Alaska and cannot wait to go back. If I had my way I'd want us to be stationed there after Italy.

This was taken outside Skagway, Alaska

My Mom, brother and I

This was a boat in Sitka, Alaska. I loved Sitka the most, but ironically we got to spend the least amount of time there.

Icy Strait Point. This used to be a salmon cannery. Now it's a sort of museum.

That looked like a good time. I may need to steal this flashback idea - i have nothing to talk about today.

Looks like a fun time!

Thank you for leaving me a comment after my breakup. It was extremely hard, but reading all the wonderful words of encouragement has really helped me these past few days!

We are talking about doing an Alaska cruise/trip next summer to escape from the crappy hot weather down here that we hate. I'd definitely want to do some hiking and kayaking, and not just cruise around. I have heard Alaska is breath-taking, so I'm glad you liked it -- I love getting good reviews before I take a trip. :)

I LOVE Sidka! My uncle and aunt live there and we went up for their wedding about 6 years ago. Its so beautiful. I can't wait to have an excuse to go back. There is a park near my uncles house that has these totem poles throughout it and its near the water. Their wedding was held at a park right next to the water. It was freezing but it was gorgeous!

OMG! I'm just now catching up on this! Yes yes! There really is nothing like Alaska in the summer time! SOOO beautiful! I haven't been to Sitka yet. Maybe I should check it out before the summer is over!
