Dear Taylor Swift: please stop doing live performances.

I've had a great morning so far. Banana Nut Bread is calling my name in the break room and a co-worker has some fresh sweet potatoes that she gave me. I'm so excited! I absolutely love sweet potatoes and I'm looking forward to baking a few of them. Maybe some sweet potato fries are in order too.

One of my best friends, Kebi, told me about this awesome deal that she saw on Oprah.

It's the Snapfish photo book and it's free! Just upload the 20 pics you want in it and wha la! Awesome present to yourself or family.

Here's the link.

I spent this morning making a Excel spreadsheet of Thanksgiving food and who was bringing what. Then I transferred that over to a nice letter that Sean could hand out to those that will be attending Thanksgiving at our home. He said everyone has been asking him what to bring, so I thought outlining what people had already volunteered for might help a bit in that department.

Sean and I are already been arguing discussing what is going to be on our TV on Thanksgiving morning. Being a traditional type of gal and well..sometimes a bit of a diva, I'm insisting on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I wake up early for it and watch it every, single year. He's talking football pre-game. We do have more than one tv, but perhaps I can put one in the kitchen while I'm making dinner. Hmm......good thought on that one.

Did anyone watch the CMA's last night? I did until I passed out around 9:00. Can I just say I really enjoy Taylor Swift on the radio, but live she sounds awful? I've dismissed it at first as just a fluke, but after three or four times of listening to her live I've decided she's just not as good in person.

In the good news department I've already gotten three gifts on my Christmas list. I still have a lot to buy, but at least it's a start! Anyone else out there already shopping or already done completely?

Oh and thank you so much to Holly over at In Over My Active Head for this lovely award! Awards always make my day and this one was no exception!

Also go check out http://www.happylizzz.com/ for a great giveaway. I heard of it through Wandering DC, so be sure to go over and enter for the giveaway. It's a Target giftcard and a Starbucks giftcard. Who doesn't love either of those?

Enjoy the rest of your Thursday!

I love sweet potatoe fries!!!

I am surprised to hear Taylor Swift can't sing. I have never heard her live but I enjoy her on the radio. And I am so mad I missed the CMAs last night! I totally forgot they were on!

As for the Thanksgiving Day TV decision, I'm in the same boat as you. BUT we only have one TV so I will try really hard to get my parade (and not just during commericals!)

I'm finished Christmas shopping! I can't believe it, but I am! Good luck with yours!

I am so sad about Taylor Swift! I love her music!

On the Christmas front, I am done, Done, DONE!!! Yay! I hate crowds and rushing around at the last minute, so my goal is to always be done Christmas shopping by Thanksgiving. I am getting pretty good at it by now, but there are occasionally years where I am still shopping Christmas Eve!

You and I must be on the same wave-length because I've been thinking about making sweet potatoes this weekend all freaking day.

As for the Christmas gifts, I have two people done and 9 to go. Wait, make that 11. Dang I should really get on that...

Thanks for the link on the photobook! I was going to make one of these for a gift, and this will help!

By the way, I totally agree - the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade should trump anything else on TV :)

Yay for spreadsheets and sweet potatoe fries! I don't like regular baked sweet potatoes, but I love the fries:) That is sad about Taylor Swift. I haven't heard her too many times live, but I have always thought she sounded good. Actually, my hubby (who is a music guy and very critical) has always been impressed with her live performances. We actually watched her and Def Leppard on Crossroads the other night and it was super entertaining. Maybe she has had some off nights? Who knows! Sometimes I think they are mixed pretty horribly on TV too - anyway, I still love her long curly hair - if only mine looked like that! I hope you are having a good day chica! I also vote for Macy's Parade and I have started Christmas shopping :)

I didn't watch the CMA's last night but I saw her performance last year and it was horrible!!! She is defintely one to listen on the radio or CD.

You read my mind on the Taylor Swift comment. I thought maybe it was just me... I don't know if maybe she just gets nervous or what - but she REALLY needs to stop singing live!!

I only have 2 gift done on my Christmas list, so you've passed me up there! I really do need to get on the ball :-)

Oh, and Thanksgiving TV... The parade is an absolute MUST!!!

I'm with you about Taylor Swift. I was so disappointed with her performance last night. Carrie Underwood was the best of everyone in my opinion.

I watched Ellen with Taylor as a guest and she was pretty bad. She was acting like she couldn't hear (mike problem maybe?) but it was pretty bad
