As you all know, I'm not the most fashion savvy person out there. So it should come to no surprise to you that I have to try out "jeggings".
Today I noticed they were selling some at the PX (yeah..I know, not the most ideal place to shop) Anyway, as I looked at them, I must admit my curiousity was piqued. They look so comfy and they'd go perfectly with my riding boots. However, I'm a curvy girl. I wear a size 12 and have not only hips, but also a JLO butt.
My debate is this: Are Jeggings flattering on curvier girls? Anyone out there have jeggings and love them? What brand did you end up buying if you do wear them?

I'm not fashion savvy either, so I'll be curious to read what people say... :)
P.S. Is it possible to try them on, or were they in a sealed package?
jeggings are almost never okay. a cameltoe is no one's friend. they are fine on my baby, but i'd never wear them.
also usually once a style hits the PX it's over.
I think it depends on the thickness of the fabric. The thicker, the better. I have a pair from asos and I love them. They also sell theirs by numbered sizes instead of s,m,l,xl, etc. Hope that helps!
I mean, I can see it both ways. Personally, I love a booty and hips on a girl... but like Krista said the CT is never okay but like Sara said, if it's high enough quality material, you could probably rock it. Email me a picture and I'll tell you ha ha!
I wear my Old Navy Rockstar jeggings virtually every day--I LOVE them :)
To me, jeggings should follow the same rule as leggings: The booty should always be covered. So if I were to wear them it'd be with a long sweater/dress. Probably not how they were intended, but I'm with Krista...only as actual pants if it's on a toddler. :)
I love my jeggings! I'm a size 10 with wide hips but no butt. I say try em!
I think you should try them out! I used to be a size 10 and almost bought a pair. They looked pretty good too. Now that I'm a size 4/6 I can't find a pair that will fit over my large calves!
I've got two pairs of jeggings! I love them! So cute with knee high boots or a sleek printed flat. But they've gotta be a jean like thicker fabric with stretch or I won't wear them for fear of looking ridiculous. Also, keep the booty covered...just like with any other leggings. I got one pair from NY&Co and one from Anthropology. I say go for it girl! The worst that could happen is they turn out to be lounge leggings. :)
I'm a short, curvy girl and jeggings are incredibly flattering on me and comfy. I can rock them with flats, dress them up with a cute pair of booties or some riding boots and a wife beater (ribbed t-shirt). My favorite ones are The Rock Star jeggings from Oldnavy.com. Super comfy, super flattering. I having tried the high rise ones yet, but I'm going to! Black jeggings with brown riding boots--you can't go wrong, mama. Good luck.
I have this debate with my Husband all the time. I am a size 4 and whenever I have skinny jeans or leggings on he always tells me I look "Blah". This is because I am pear shaped so they make me look even more pear shaped and make my hips look huge. But it's whatever, I think they are comfortable so I wear them whenever he isn't around. The jeggings for me are eh. I personally wouldn't wear them, but I can see how they would be good for riding.
I'm not going to lie.. I had to google "Jeggings". This should be your answer. :)
I just ordered a pair from Old Navy! They should be here in the next couple of days so we will see. I've seen people wear them and have not realized that they were jeggings, they looked like jeans. I bought a pair of skinny jeans and they still aren't skinny enough to put my uggs in!
I just recently purchased my first pair of jeggings...I got them from Express and I bought them in black (do they still technically count as jeggings?? they are jean material) Anyhow, I wear an 8 and have enormous hips and a huge butt so I always wear them with my tush covered. I'm sure your's will look adorable with the right top and a good pair of riding boots!
And can I just say that I'm so happy you still blog...you were one of the firsts that I followed and you've always got something good to say:)
I have a pair of them but if I wear them, I usually pair them with a really long shirt/sweater.
