I've Never...

I've been thinking lately about some things that I've never done. Not crazy, unusual things like skydiving or even visiting different sights of the world. Just normal, everyday, ho-hum things.

I've Never:

-Watched an episode of Gilmore Girls (until today!) Or Grey's Anatomy, but I'm never going to change that one. I watched 5 minutes once and didn't like it. A full episode? No thanks.

-Gotten a pedicure (Obviously I need to rectify this and soon!)

-Gone to a ballet or an opera (Two things which I'm hoping to do before we leave Europe)

-Made gravy or a Thanksgiving turkey (I make Sean do both of those things)

-Taken a dance class. (One of my big regrets)

What are some things you've never done?

Nice post! Gilmore girls--awesome show..love the fast talk between Rory and her mom :)

I've never ran a half/full marathon (love to try one day!)

I've also never attempted to make a turkey!

I've never flown a kite

Hopefully one day soon I'll do some of these things!

Errrmmm pedicures are the best! I have never watched Greys or Gilmore Girls either...oops!

Except for Grey's I've done all those things! You've NEVER had a pedicure???? Run to the closest salon and get one! After your toes look pretty, go rent all the seasons of Gilmore Girls, order some Chinese and spend some time in front of the TV.

I've never watched Grey's either - no desire to. Just so you know, you can be a teeny, tiny bit sore after your first pedicure - don't let them cut your feet (like razor them). Don't plan a walking tour for the next day! But it is totally worth any bit of little pain for cute toes!

I've never watched Grey's either. Not my thing.

I've never gotten a real spa facial. But I'd love to.

Ha, I attempted to make gravy for the turkey last Thanksgiving and failed miserably. I followed a super "simple" recipe, but it just didn't work out at all. I'm going to try again this year.

Go get a pedicure!!! They are the best things EVER! I always want to fall asleep :)
I've never actually cooked anything.. Seriously, ONCE I made hamburger helper, and it was a disaster. I really need to fix this problem!
I've never gone jogging/running on my own.. only twice in high school 'cause it was required.

One of my biggest regrets is that I have never learned to swim.

I've had two pedicures in my life, and I'm done...my feet are too ticklish and sensitive. The last time I had one done was here, at the Family Spa place, and I nearly kicked the girl in the face.

Seriously. Don't touch my feet.

And I wish my mom was quick enough for the Lorelai/Rory banter! Best mom/daughter duo ever.

There are adult tap lessons at the Soldier's Theater. . . just throwing it out there!

Pedicures are fantastic and usually worth every penny! Although I only get one a few times a year. I have never made a Thanksgiving turkey either! We've always lived near my family so I never had to. This year would be perfect except for the fact that my oven is too small! German ovens are more like easy bake ovens!

Go get a pedicure stat! They are the best!

I have also never gotten a pedicure! I have gotten a manicure once in my life... I am just not that type of person that would spend money on something that only lasts for a week maybe?!

You have to get pedicure at the top of the to-do list SOON!

I feel like you are dedicating this post to me. Cuz I'm a real cocky son of a biscuit eater like that. :)

Trust me... you're not missing too much when it comes to preparing a turkey. it's kinda gross making it but it does taste yummy!

Oh girl, you've got to see a ballet sometime!! I used to go every year around Christmas time. And definitely make a Turkey this year, it's really super easy ;)

I'm not big on pedicures. It kind of freaks me out.. plus, my feet are super ticklish and I'm not a fan of feeling like I'm moments away from kicking someone in the face [out of sheer oh-my-god-this-tickles-so-much squirming].

I haven't made a turkey before either, but we're hosting thanksgiving this year... eek!

I've never bought a coffee at Starbucks, never ate at a Sonic... just watched Friends for the first time this past year. I got my first pedicure this May for my wedding.
I've never seen Gilmore Girls either, I have no clue what it's about. Ha, I sound so sheltered.

Hey, just found you through the Friday Fill-In. I've done most of those things, but the one I want to mention is the OPERA. I studied abroad in Verona, not too far from you now, and there they do a summer opera season at L'Arena, where you get to sit and watch an opera in a fantastically old arena. I saw "Aida" while I was there, and it was fantastic. I hope you're there next summer for it!

"The Barber of Seville" was the next Opera I saw (in the states), and it is a really good one for people who have never seen opera. It's hilarious, and I highly recommend it.

I never saw gilmore girls until my daughter was 2 (she is now 5). Why do I say that, her name is Lorelei and after 2 years of people asking if I named her after the show I had to watch it. Not that bad.
