I'm in a funk today. It's one of those days.
You know, the days where nothing attracts your attention and you just want to sit and be mad?
I don't feel like editing pictures or reading or scrapbooking or cleaning house or anything. I HATE days like that.
I even got out of the house today and went to Villa Capra aka The Rotunda, on which Thomas Jefferson based the design of his house Monticello on.
There has been one bright spot to my day. I ordered my sewing machine. I'm really looking forward to learning to sew and hopefully making some cute stuff with it.
This is what I got:
Perhaps some episodes of Designing Women will help my funk!

I'm sorry you're having a crappy day! I hope that things perk up for ya :) Eat some chocolate!!
Yay for the sewing machine... I look forward to hearing about your creations!
I think Designing Women will definitely help. Love that show!
I know that funk all too well. If I can drag myself to the gym that usually helps, but sometimes you just need those days to refuel!! How exciting on your sewing machine, congrats!!
Yay for a new sewing machine! I should get mine out and jump back in...
Sorry you're having a down day. They drive me crazy too!
Suzanne Sugarbaker could pull me out of the deepest of funks ;) I just don't like those last couple of seasons when they got rid of Charleen and Suzanne.
I've been researching sewing machines--gonna make a commitment here at some point!
Happy sewing!!! It's such a great hobby! I have had my sewing machine for a couple years and it's been so much fun.
I have the same sewing machine but in pink and purple. I hope tomorrow is a much better day for you chickadee :) Thinking of you!
Wow, so we have the or almost the exact same sewing machine! Weird. I can't wait to see what you're going to make!
And to tell you the truth, I'm having one of those days too. The dogs are driving me crazy, there seems to be endless stuff around the house I need to do but don't WANT to do, and I just want to sit down and cry I'm that sick of everything. Ugh. Here's to hoping we both have better tomorrows.
