Shoes and Scents

First things first. You must check out these finds from Target.

The look comfy yet cute. What's not to love?

The winter here last year was SO rainy that I'm thinking of buying these to keep my feet (and pants) dry.

I got another swimsuit yesterday. It's white and pink and it caught my eye at the PX. Ralph Lauren and only $30! I can't pass on a deal like that.

I have to admit that I've been kind of missing home the last few days. I guess a part of me will always think of Oklahoma as home since that's where I lived for the first 23 years of my life, but interestingly enough I've been missing Louisiana lately too. I actually really enjoyed living there and some crawfish etouffee sounds soooo good right now.

I have a random question for you girls. What's your favorite smells? I ask, because it stormed the other night and I LOVE the smell of the air before and after it rains. I also love fresh cut grass, baking bread and lilacs.

As far as perfumes I love: Curve, Nina Ricci, DKNY's Be Delicious and Armani Code.

Funny enough, I've been thinking about perfumes a lot lately! Specifically about deciding on the one I will wear on my wedding day! I know, I'm weird.

Besides perfumes, I LOVE the smell of banana bread and rain. Smelling either of those things make me smile no matter what the time of day!

I bought those pink flip flops last year at Target. They are super comfy. I swore by my reefs, but these totally compete with them. One of my better purchases.

I love the smell of almost anything baking/cooking especially cookies, bread and my mom's pasta sauce. I also can't resist anything coconut smelling - always makes me think of the beach for some reason.

Louisiana misses you too. It told me. :)

I love the smell of a fresh spring rain, the smell of gasoline (I know, weird), and the smell of my parents' house when I walk in--it's a mish-mash of scents, but it always reminds me of home

As for perfume, I only wear Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea. It is my absolute favorite.

nothing beats the smell of fall in New England...there is no way to describe it but it's amazing!

For perfume I have some from origins that has a ginger smell which I think is really yummy.

Oh and good call on the rain boots, I've already worn through a pair here in WA!

I love the CK Mambo scent, but they stopped making it in stores a couple years ago so I have to search like never before to find it now!

Barnes & Noble. The combination of fresh coffee and a million books reminds me of college and downtown Raleigh, NC. Acqua di Gio on my husband makes me weak in the knees. On me, I love Armani Mania or Pear Glace body butter from Victoria's Secret.

I love the smell of cut grass, fresh hay, hubs after a shower, my boys hair after I wash it, and new baby smell. Nothing tops new baby smell.

I love the boots and they will definitely be a good investment. There's not much I hat more than rain-soaked jeans around me feet so I love my trusty rainboots.

I love it when the fireplaces are lit for the first time around Christmas and the smokey smell lingers in the crisp cold air. It's the official start of Christmas time to me. I've got a weird thing for Matt's Degree deodorant. I love how that stuff smells.

Burning leaves/fireplaces in the fall
