In Need Of: Flats

I'm planning on doing a lot of traveling and walking this summer and I'd like to have some comfy flats that don't cause blisters.

Generally, I'd go for a cheap pair from Target or Payless, but I think this time it'd be better for me to invest in a more comfy pair.

Suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions for you, but i'm anxious to hear what people say, because I need a good quality shoe, too!

I was in the same situation about 3 months ago. I knew we were going to be doing a ton of traveling and here in Europe you walk everywhere so I knew I needed a really great pair of walking shoes. When I went to look for walking shoes most of them were comfortable but not so great. Then I found my New Balance trail shoes and they are fantastic!! I got mine at the PX but had found them online as well. They are cushioned very well and have that extra heel and arch support you need for long walks. Try them out and see what you think.
I can tell you we recently went to Paris and walked 5 hours the first day, 10 hours the second day and by the time we left I was exhausted but my feet were no worse then any other day...I was very pleasantly surprised!

I have cute flats from Naturalizers that I get tons of compliments on. They're silver and ruched at the toe. Nordstroms (nordstroms.com) also sells tons of cute flats that are more expensive but the leather ones are usually made with soft, comfortable leather. I'm all about the flats! When I buy target flats I buy them 1/2-1 size bigger since it's cheaper material and doesn't break in as easily.

There's some great flats from Gwen Stefani's line this year.

I am currently coveting a pair of Tory Burch Revas but they are quite pricey. I was at the Clarks store today and they had tons of cute comfortable flats, much less expensive than TB's.

I have a pair of flats that are actually Sketchers. (And, no, they don't look like sneakers.) They are so comfy, and pretty cute (I've gotten a lot of compliments on them!)

Good luck shopping!

Clark's! They are a bit old-lady, but have been coming up with really cute styles lately. And their sub-line Privo has super comfy, good walking shoes!
