I Love Christmas: Movies

I'm plugging right along right now. Basically I'm trying to keep busy, but at night when I write in my journal I get a little weepy. However, I figure that's an improvement over crying whenever I would see laundry of Sean's or even his razor.

I've been watching a lot of movies and TV series, working out, doing errands, cleaning the house and what not. But enough on me...time for a fun Christmas post.

Here are my Top 5

1. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
2. Elf
3. Rudolph (The Claymation one)
4. It's a Wonderful Life
5. Miracle on 34th Street

Coming up very close behind those would be: The Grinch, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Home Alone, Love Actually and White Christmas. There are so many good one's out there!

What are your favorites?

You just named all of my favorites. I don't think I could actually put them into a top 5. I have a really hard time with picking my favorites!

I cried every time I wrote Scott a letter for the first month or so. That eventually subsided, too. I'm glad you are hanging in there!

I love Christmas Vacation. :) But I have to admit I have never seen Elf. I really really need to watch it.

Love Actually would be mine. I'm one of those weird people that can't stand the old claymation movies.

In December I always want to answer my phone with, "Buddy the Elf! What's your favorite color?"

I have never seen It's a Wonderful Life.

A Christmas Story is my all time favorite holiday movie and I'm very bummed that I'm not in the States this year to enjoy the 24 hour marathon on TBS. I may put the DVD on repeat at my house!

Elf, the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, and though not holiday, The Sound of Music are the other favorites here.

We are down to the last 12 or so hours here and I'm about to snap!!!

you did a pretty good job with naming all of my favorites so I have nothing to add! You have great taste!

I LOVE Elf and Rudolph. I have to say that this year I really enjoyed the new Disney short "Prep and Landing." It was incredibly cute.

My favorites would be Its a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th st (although the 90s one with Mara Wilson). And though I don't consider it to be an actual Christmas movie, I LOVE Love Actually.
