What's There to Say About Monday?

I've got a lot of things swirling around in my brain today...so I'm sure this post will be all over the place.

-Starting my new phase of unemployment today. I think I've been pretty productive, I've worked on laundry, washed dishes, cleaned out the fridge and swept the kitchen. Next up? Taco soup for dinner

-I'm really hoping to catch up with all the blogs I've missed reading.Things are going to be a little hectic the next couple of months, but should slow down when I get back from the States in January.

-Go time for Sean is quickly approaching. I never mention dates on my blog for obvious reasons, but I will say that we are combining our Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations.

-Because deployment time is approaching I've been mentally making a list of what goals I plan on accomplishing during this deployment. Soon I'll actually put them on paper.

-You know...there are days that I'm ready to leave Italy and days I really love it and don't want to go back to the States. Saturday morning was a time I loved it. Sean and I made our way to our favorite loose wine shop, bought two bottles of 2 liter wine and a bag of biscotti cookies for 12 euro. That is one of the things I'll miss when we leave here.

-I can't believe it's November! I've been here almost a year and feel like there's so many things I haven't even seen or done yet. Obviously I need to get on that.

- I met a friend of a friend the last week that was visiting from NYC. She told me this past Saturday that she had so much fun with all of us here that I was welcome to visit and stay with her in NYC anytime. I plan on taking her up on that. It's been 10 years since I've been too New York and I'd LOVE to go back.

Back to cleaning for me!

The trip to NY sounds fun! I had a blast the couple times I went, and I can't wait to go back.

That is great that you can celebrate the holidays together!

I got all the ingredients for Taco Soup and I'm going to make it this week! SO excited about it, too :)

I hope you enjoy the time you have with your husband before it's time for him to leave :(

good for you for quitting, I think that if a job isn't making you happy then you don't want to spend your day there.

Your so funny! You say you feel like you haven't done much since being in Italy, yet I look at all of your traveling, and trips, and adventures and I can't believe you have done so much!!!!

Glad you had a good first workday being back at home! Are you going to stay in the states for the whole deployment?

Just doing some catching up on my favorite blogs...just wanted to say that I'm glad you decided to quit your job because it seemed to be the best decision for you. I'm sure you'll be happier now that you don't have to deal with the bs and headache of it.

I hope you share some of your deployment goals...with Europe as your backyard, I'm willing to bet they're going to be pretty good:)

I wish we knew each other in real life and were closer together for the d-day that's coming for both of us! We're spending Thanksgiving apart, and we haven't talked about Christmas yet.

I hope you enjoy unemployment! I kind of wish I could do the same thing!
