Question of the Day

I have a kind of serious post in mind, but I'm not ready to blog about it yet, so today is going to be a question kind of day.

So...today's Question of the Day:

What inspired you to start blogging?

I started our blog to keep in touch with family before our overseas move. It has been wonderful because now we have a 1 year old and they almost feel like they are watching her grow up!

Erm..I still remembered my first post was about my confusion towards my future. At that time I was not that serious in blogging...but as time goes by,blogging had become a daily habit and hobby to me.My family even influenced by me and even they started blogging to keep in touch with each others.

I started blogging when hubby deployed as a way to vent. It's been wonderful and I'm so glad I did it!

I started my first blog when I was pregnant in 2004. It was just for family and friends. Once I got into Facebook I really stopped blogging but realized I missed it. That is when I decided I wanted to blog again but for more than just family and friends. So I started my current blog this past Oct.

I started blogging when I was pregnant. I literally had no other "real life" friends who were pregnant or had babies, so I had no one who really knew what I was going through. I discovered mom blogs and I loved the community of it all. I wanted to share what I was going through with people who would "get it", who I could ask advice from, etc.

I started blogging when my daughter was a month old, because I didn't want to forget all of the day to day stuff that I forgot with my sons. I would love to be able to turn back time and blog from the time I was pregnant with my oldest son.

I started blogging in the fall of 2008 and it was basically out of sheer boredom. I wasn't working and there just wasn't that much to do in the day.

I started blogging the day of my husbands deployment ceremony... because I had so many emotions and things I wanted to tell SOMEBODY, but didn't have anyone really to tell.

I started blogging because of you girls! You all taught me so much that it inspired me to get my perspective out there too : )

I sarted blogging because I just needed to get things out of my head! haha. and I also had been reading other womens blogs and they really inspired me and have helped me through some things I had been going through, and I was hoping that maybe someone might stumble across my blog and be helped also.
All the best!

I started to blog when we moved out of state. It was a way to keep connected with my family. It's become more of a public diary now.

I originally started blogging when I went into the Army.. to share my experience of being not only an Army wife, but being in the Army myself! And then it just sort of morphed with my life..

I started blogging about 7 - 8 months ago to share what was going on with us for my family who live 15 hours away from us in Michigan. I was also seeking out other military spouses to for ideas and advice for dealing with the military.

My boyfriend left for bootcamp, and I wanted to keep track of my life, since I knew a lot of new things would be happening.

I started blogging as a way to keep myself accountable for my training. I'd been reading some triathlon and running blogs, and liked the idea. So I started there and it became a personal thing.

I started blogging when we were just a few months away from PCSing to California. I thought it would be a neat way to keep family and friends updated with what was going on in our lives. When my husband lost his orders a month before we were suppose to move and was told he would have to deploy instead, I kept the blog and I've been using it as a way to vent my deployment frustrations.

I started while I was in the depths of serious depression. It was a way for me to get out all the crap that was swimming in my head. It was never meant to be cheery or superficial, it was a place that I could say whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. It has continued as a way to keep in touch with my close friends back home and to still say the things I feel I have no one to talk to about here.

I started blogging in July of 2008. My boyfriend at the time was in Navy Recruit Training command and I needed something to take my mind off the fact that he was gone and not many of my friends at home understood a thing I was going through. My friend Sarah http://sarahemily-blog.blogspot.com/ was going through something similar and suggested I try it. I vented my way through his A School, and first deployment and sadly through the end of our relationship. but it also helps me now through my search for me. I love it and I love reading all of you ladies' blogs and finding new and fun ones. Blog land is great! Thank you for the great question!!

I wanted to just sort things out that were always floating around in my head. and while I did do that, I also found a neat little group of other military folks. so I gained more then I thought I would!

I started blogging so I could spill my guts, and because I secretly hope that one day I'll turn into one of those writers with a million followers, but for now I just use it to journal out loud.

I started blogging so my family and friends could keep up with us while we were in GA.

You will probably think I am a total nutjob, but - looking back - I'm pretty sure it was a God thing. At the time I started, our lives were pretty blah. My posts were 1 or 2 paragraphs about what I watched on TV that night. And even thought I couldn't justify it to myself (or SoldierMan) I just felt compelled to start the blog. Short time later, guess what? We're joining the Army and I need TONS of advice. I would be SO behind right now if it weren't for the blogosphere.

I started blogging in 2005 to share pictures with Hubby while he was in the sandbox the second time...

Now I find myself more connected with the Blogosphere to create my own virtual neighboorhood that will move with me during each military PCS. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing humor about the life of a military wife and mommy of three small children...

I also use it as a venue to learn photography and cooking! :)

I started with reading blogs I had stumbled across while trying to figure out some life stuff, reading what others in similar situations wrote was surprisingly helpful. Well, then I had a break up and wanted to vent! It was my version of writing the letters and then burning them to realase. Other stuff happened and it became a place for me to just talk some things "out loud".

I started blogging because I loved reading blogs and decided to start my own.

Facebook, Myspace, e-mail and Yahoo Instant Messenger weren't enough for my ENTIRE family to keep up with our daily lives. So I found Blogspot.com and they all steal my pictures of Jericho and print them out for free.
