I love Fridays, I really do. I'm working today, but it's ok because there isn't really much to do.
In honor of my good mood I thought I'd share with you a few of my favorite things.
I was at the thrift store the other day and found a few of the Little House Books. I would have bought them, but I already own them. They just happen not to be with me in Italy. My mom used to read these books to me and I LOVED them. Farmer Boy and On the Banks of Plum Creek are my two faves.
I found this dress at Old Navy and I can't wait to buy it. Just have to wait to until the next payday.
My dear husband is cooking pot roast this weekend. I am very excited about this. Last time he made roast I ate a huge amount of it. Tonight we are having mushroom burgers and fried potatoes.
This is one of three pairs of shoes I got in from Target yesterday. The reviews for these shoes were good and they were on clearance, so I figured why not. Can I just say they are awesome? For such high heels they are very cushy and comfortable. I'm kind of regretting not ordering them in different colors!
LOVE that dress. I'm all into the plaid all of a sudden. I got the cutest yellow and blue plaid shirt at Target yesterday ~ I had to have one last Target splurge ~ since ya know.. I'm moving to a town where the closest Target is 40 minutes away. I know you feel my pain..
ReplyDeleteI loved the Little House series, I actually read them so much my parents took them away from me, so I would read somethine else!
ReplyDeleteI should blame you for my shoe problem, because now I'm gonna have to go and see if my Target has those shoes!
ReplyDeleteCute dress! I got a very similar one from Victoria's Secret! But it's shorter. Surprise, surprise.
ReplyDeleteAnd um...my pot roast NEVER looks like that!
That pot roast looks so good. I think I may attempt one of those this weekend!
ReplyDeleteOld Navy has their sweater coats on sale right now too if you're interested.
ReplyDeleteOh I love those books! Those were my first real "reads" that I remember as a girl, you know something other than the flat picture books. I devoured them.
ReplyDeleteHey and thanks to bss for the mention of sweater coats on sale, love & need them!
I love the Little House books. I was named after Laura Ingalls Wilder and I grew up in Oregon. Most of my family were pioneers who came to Oregon on the Oregon Trail. So those books always felt like a glimps at my families past. I actually just re-read Little Town on the Prarie and These Happy Golden Years. I just picked one of them up one night when I couldn't sleep and I was hooked all over again.
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable shoes! And dress. And I really can't read your fashion blogs anymore. It's such a tease!! All my money is going toward vacationing at this point, so no shopping for me!
ReplyDeleteLoooove the Little House books. I think I've read them all a hundred times and, given the opportunity, would probably read them again now!
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes... love Target :) AND love pot roast!
I love all the Little House books. I've read them so many times, actually the last time was when I was in college!
ReplyDeleteMy Mom and I read those books together too! I have such fond childhood memories that include those books...
