Things I Love!

Time for another edition of Things I Love! Which could also be called Things I Just Bought or Things I'll Buy Soon.

1. Rising From the Sea dress from ModCloth

How awesome is this dress? I love the color and the style. Pretty sure it will be perfect for my 29th birthday (which isn't until July). So I popped this little dress into my shopping cart and it will be mine!

2. Rockaholic Flexible Hairspray from Tigi

I had to leave my hairspray in the States, because my suitcase was over the weight limit, so coming back to Italy, I needed a replacement. I didn't really like my other hairspray anyway, as it left my hair kind of sticky, so when I stumbled upon this flexible hairspray, I knew I had to give it a try. Well, thank god I did, because it is awesome. Seriously, it holds curls so well and they are soft without being sticky or stiff. Love this stuff!

3. Slipper boots from Old Navy

Ok, so the picture is small because the Old Navy site is stupid about saving pictures, but you get the point. I have these exact slippers and in my cold apartment with freezing floors, they are a lifesaver. Plus they were on clearance for like $6 and you can't beat that.

4. Hunger Games

As with many popular items, I'm behind the times when it comes to reading The Hunger Games and the other two books in the trilogy. However, I finished all three books while I was home for Christmas and was quite impressed. I must say that the first book is my favorite and I'm super excited to see the movie. So, if you haven't read the books, you really should!

5. Pepperidge Farm Coconut Cake

I had this cake on New Years Eve as a special treat with my family. I must confess that I'd been eyeing it for awhile, but refused to buy it and eat the whole thing by myself. Let me just say that it was amazing. If you remember Little Debbie's Coconut Cakes (that they so unfairly discontinued years ago) this cake tastes just like that. It was gone within hours after we opened it. It's that good, people.

There you have it! My list of Things I Love. Anything you guys are loving right now that you'd like to share?

Things I Love!

Ready for my November edition of Things I Love? Let's begin, shall we?

1. Never Knowing by Chevy Stevens

I'd read Chevy Stevens' first book called Still Missing earlier this year and I was pretty impressed. When Never Knowing came out, I knew I had to read it too. I liked this book much more than the first. Very good plot and some scary moments. I highly recommend it!

2. This outfit I found on Pinterest. Specifically the dress. However, there are no links to where this dress came from and it's killing me! I want this dress!

3. Mushroom risotto. It's like the best Italian comfort food EVER! Sean and I love to go to one particular restaurant here in town and order their mushroom risotto. In fact, we did it yesterday. It's so good you don't even want to eat the last bite because you want it to last.

4. The fact that my Oklahoma State Cowboys are #2 in the nation.

5. Funny things I see on Pinterest

This seriously made me laugh so hard. I'm so going to be that kind of mom.

6. This shirt from Old Navy. Too bad they don't have it in my size. Thankfully a friend is visiting the States this week and said she'd look for it for me.

7. Babies! It seems like all my friends right now are pregnant. I've got baby fever bad, but since it's just not the right time for us, I've been photographing a friend's baby to quell the fever and get some photos for my portfolio. This is one of my faves.

5 Things I Love

1. OPI nail polish in At First Sight. I've been obsessing over this nail polish since I saw it in a magazine. I've already put my best friend on a hunt for it.

2. Digital Photography Forums- A simply AMAZING website. Any photographers out there that don't already visit this website should.

3. New books from the library. I'm currently reading a book about a Hawaiian girl in the 1890's who has leprosy and a biography on Theodore Roosevelt. What can I say? I have eclectic taste.

4. When people buy my prints on Etsy. Think how much happier I would be if all my readers out there bought some prints. ;)

5.Philosphy Hot Dots Cinnamon Shower Gel- My best friend got this for me for Christmas and I LOVE it! So refreshing and such a yummy smell.
