Boot Love

I just bought the cutest pair of Franco Sarto riding boots on Ebay for more than half of what they were originally. They aren't even pre-owned! Granted, they are last seasons or maybe the season before that, but I could care less!

Oh Ebay and bargain shopping....how I love thee!

Fall Fashion...for less!

I'm not sure how many of you out there use Pinterest or Polyvore, but there has been a ton of cute fall outfits on those sites lately. I've been getting inspiration from many of these outfits, but when I look at a lot of the prices for these items, I'm shocked. A lot of these pieces are coming from J Crew and although I LOVE the style of J Crew items, I'm too cheap to actually spend that much money on a couple pieces of clothing.

Now there are a few exceptions to what I will spend good money on. Coats are one item and good boots are another. I feel like both of those will last me a long time and multiple seasons. I don't mind spending a little bit more on jeans either. However, I end up buying most of my jeans at American Eagle because they fit my body well and have the short length for jeans, which are perfect for me. If you catch American Eagle at the right time you can get good deals on their jeans. I bought two pairs of jeans from American Eagle the other day for $60, which included shipping.

For some shirts and accessories I've been seeing in these fall clothing sets,  I've been searching around the Internet for other, less pricey options.
Take for example, the red Boyfriend cardigan from American Eagle, it's not that pricey at $25, but they no longer have the red color in stock. If you're truly set on red, or just want more color options, check out the Target option for $22.  Also, the white pocket tee from TopShop will run you $36. Kind of pricey for just a t-shirt. So grab a white pocket-tee from Old Navy for $8.50.

I love this outfit, but if you went for the versions in this collection, it would be costly. Almost everything, minus the jeans comes from J Crew. The long-sleeved crew neck alone is $145. Yes, it is cashmere, but that doesn't really matter to me. So, grab the cotton version from Old Navy for $10 and search for a white puffer vest on Ebay. I promise that you can find one for cheaper than the $118 version from J Crew.

What I have found in most of my searches is that you can find the essentials, the tanks, long-sleeve shirts, v neck tops and pocket tees at Old Navy and Target for much cheaper.  Scarves are also much cheaper at Target or Old Navy then buying the original. Although I love Burberry prints, I'm not spending $335 on a scarf.

I've also been using Ebay to find similiar sweaters, cardigans and shoes to what is listed in the collection. Sometimes they are similiar to the item and made by the same company, but maybe a few seasons old. Automatically that's cheaper. H&M, Express, New York and Company and Gap all have some great basics like cardigans and sweaters that are similiar to what I've found in the original version and you can find them on Ebay for much cheaper. J Crew items are a bit cheaper on Ebay, but in most cases, still more than I am willing to pay for a single item.

Check out these wedges I found in one collection:

Michael Antonio sandals

Michael Antonio sandals (see more espadrilles wedges)

Cute aren't they? They're also $60 which is more than I'm willing to pay for a pair of wedges that is pretty color specific.

Enter this pair I found on Ebay for $9.99

Just as cute in my opinion and very similar.

Last, but not least before you shop anywhere online, sign up for Ebates. Basically anytime you shop, you go through the Ebates page to the website you are wanting to buy from. You shop, check out and you will get a percentage of money back from Ebates. It's that easy and it's worth it!

Fall Fashion

It's a cool day here in Italy and that makes me think of fall...and fall clothes. So I've done a little browsing today and found some cute things.

I found all of these at Old Navy.

They had these adorable sweaters last year at Old Navy and I missed out on buying one, so I'm thinking I have to get one this year. I love the color of this!

I like this top because it's a boatneck and I don't see those too often, plus this shirt comes in a ton of different colors, so it's easy to pick up one or several!

I'm obsessed with shirts like this. I think they look so comfy and casual and are the perfect shirt to pair with jeans.

I think this hobo bag is so perfect for fall!

This is my favorite item I've found today. I love this color of green and I love the style of the coat.

Fall Fashion

The air has been crisp here in the mornings and evenings and there is a certain smell to the air. A smell I can only associate with fall and I am excited! As a kid I didn't much care for fall. Fall meant going back to school and I was NOT excited about that. As an adult it means cooler weather, fun holidays and of course.... new fall clothes.

I've already been scoping all my favorite websites for new fall clothes. However...with possibly quitting my job I'm going to have to go a bit easy on the fall clothes, but still..I have to look.

Up first is my very favorite piece and what I want the most this fall.

It's at Old Navy, it's white, it's pretty and it WILL be mine.

I love argyle. It's so preppy and classic looking. This also came from Old Navy.

The color is quintessential fall and I love the collar on this. Another Old Navy pick.

Old Navy again. So warm looking and again..I love the colors.

I like the simplicity and casualness of this plaid shirt. Forever 21. As if I could have a shopping list and not put them on it!

Of course this is just the beginning of my fall shopping list. I'm sure I'll be back at a later date with more great finds!

Fall Fashion

So, as we all know I have a really unhealthy addiction to Forever 21. I found two things that I know are going to have to make it into my already overstuffed closet.

Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

I'm not really a fan of hats, but this cloche hat is too cute. I have a big head though and so I'm wondering if it would look good on me.

I'm also digging on some of the sweaters on that site. However, I'm getting ready to buy a new, expensive camera, SO I know I can't be buying stuff from there right now. After I get my camera paid for, yes. Until then, no.

Oh..and I just had to mention this new website I found. EyesLipsface.com. They have such good deals on makeup. I'm talking $1! Now, I wouldn't buy my foundation there, I use PUR or Bare Minerals, but for nails and lips, I think it's a steal!
