Clarification and Wordless Wednesday

I'd like to clarify a few things from my sponsor post from yesterday.

1. I wasn't really referring to people having ads on their blog, unless they are excessive, then I tend to avoid said blogs.
2. I'm all about giveaways or sponsoring giveaways for Etsy sellers. As an Etsy seller myself, I understand getting my store out there.
3. Just because I express my opinion doesn't mean I'm singling anyone out. In fact, the blog I'm referring to isn't even one that's on my blog list anymore. Plus, just because I blog about something that bothers me doesn't mean anyone should care. If I truly don't like what I see on a blog then I just don't read it.

Now for Wordless Wednesday!

Look What I Did!

First of all, thanks for everyone who weighed in on my sewing post! I appreciate it immensely!

Now for a semi-Wordless Wednesday.

This picture was taken over R&R. I was going to OKC to take my boudoir pictures and borrowed my Mom's truck. At 75mph on the turnpike I had a blowout.

This is the aftermath. To say I feel lucky/watched over is an understatement.

Wordless Wednesday: Hint of Mint

Happy St.Patrick's Day!

Even though I don't really celebrate it. You'd think with the Irish sounding last name that I currently have that I would, but not so. I'm hoping maybe next year Sean and I can go to Ireland to celebrate though. I'm all for field trips on holidays!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day here's a green-themed picture

Wordless Wednesday....well almost

As I am apparently not creative at all this week and can't write a blog post to save my life, I leave you with this picture of my delish taco soup that I prepared yesterday. At one time I got it from another blogger, although I can't remember who and it's very easy and very good for you. One of these days when I'm less lazy I'll post the recipe.

Wordless Wednesday

I'm at a loss for words today...I guess chalk it up to Bloggers Block. So I'll share some shots I took while at home over Christmas.

Wordless Wednesday- Home

These are from my home in Oklahoma, but they aren't from my recent trip. These were taken last summer.

When I think of home these are two images that usually come to my mind. The beautiful sunsets with the long grass waving in a slight breeze.

And my mom's flower gardens with hummingbirds constantly buzzing about

Wordless Wednesday- With a Twist

So I've lurked several weeks on American Mums Wordless Wednesday Fotofest and I thought it was high time I joined in.

The theme this week is vintage.

The main street in the town nearest to us is chock-full of vintage images, so I chose it as my subject.

The old courthouse, quite grand isn't it? The clock tower still keeps perfect time and chimes on the hour.

The old Vernon Bank that is no longer in use. It has the best sign though!

Even the stop signs look vintage to me.
