Scatterbrained Sunday

I'm a bit scatterbrained today and my mind is everywhere so I'm doing another sort of thoughts post.

1. I watched Time Traveler's Wife the other night. On a scale from 1-10 I'd give it a 5. Original type story, but didn't really hold my attention. I need to read the book I guess and compare the two.

2. It appears I'm going to Milan on Tuesday with a friend and her cousin who is visiting. I've only driven through Milan, so I'm excited to see it and it's beautiful Duomo.

3.I'm making this recipe off of Pioneer Woman Cooks/Tasty Kitchen. I LOVE Indian food and cannot wait to see how it turns out.

4. Call me unpatriotic, but the Winter Olympics bore me. I'd much rather watch the Summer Olympics. I'm hoping we can make it to London in 2012 to see the Olympics there.

5. I'm still plugging away on my college scrapbook. I made a list of pages I have left to make and I still have about 35 to go. This makes me reconsider doing future scrapbooks! I've thought about just doing photobooks on Snapfish, but there's just something about scrapbooks that I love so much!

  1. I haven't been into the Winter Olympics this year either. I also like the summer ones. 2 years to go :) I really need to get back into scrapbooking after we get moved.

  2. Olympics usually bore me, too. But this year, for some reason, I'm loving watching them. Of course not all the sports are equally entertaining (cross country skiing? yuck. curling?? *yawn*), but snowboarding and the super fast skiing is insane!

I hate it when the athletes crash, though...and it seems to happen a LOT.

  3. I don’t watch the Winter Olympics either. It just makes me cold, haha.

I gave up on scrapbooking not too long ago, haha all I managed to make was a mess! I’ve also been looking at the photo books they can make for you online, they look really nice and like they will stand up to time.

(Continuing on from the other conversation...)
Lake Charles is decent, much better then Alexandria. We have never been to Pappy's though. I will have too for though. I'm always looking for new places to eat. Wagon Masters rolls are amazing! I think I gained 20 LBS when we first moved here... between them and Ryan’s in Deridder. haha

  4. Wow, you had a much more interesting college experience than I did. :) Right now I'm just trying to do our scrapbooks since we've been married. I just started 2008. So..yeah....

  5. I heard the book was pretty boring too. I'm going to give the movie a try though.

I've actually really been enjoying the olympics this year. I've been laid up feeling like doo doo this week and at first it was the least boring of all the sports mark makes me watch. But then I really started to get into the Alpine skiing, snowboarding and speed skating.

But yeah, we totally like the summer olympics better.

  9. I love the Pioneer Woman's recipes! And I'm with you on the winter olympics. My mom's a huge fan, so she calls me whenever there's anything worth seeing thanks to the delay :)

  10. I have actually been hooked on the Winter Olympics. Well, pretty much every single major sports event is my passion! I can't wait for the soccer World Cup in South Africa.

  14. Scrapbooks take SO much time, but even though its so much work I still love them. I think its all the fun stickers or other random stuff. Maybe you could do both? Make photobooks online for most everything, and then when you have the time eventually scrapbook it?
