The title almost sounds like a Nicholas Spark's book doesn't it?
For Christmas my best friend got me a beautiful locket. On the outside it has Sean and I's initials.
On the inside are pictures of Sean and I on our wedding day. It was such a thoughtful gift and I LOVE wearing it.
What is a favorite piece of jewelry you have?
L bought me a Movado watch when we first started dating and I just love it. I wear it every single day.
ReplyDeleteThat was such a thoughtful gift! And so pretty, too.
ReplyDeleteOh I love that. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a thoughtful gift! I love it. Makes me want to go and make one for myself! And yes, it very much does sound like a Nicholas Sparks book :)
ReplyDeleteIf I had a men's burberry watch, that would be my favorite piece of jewelry. But since I don't, it would probably be my diamond earrings. I wear them all the time.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a wonderful gift!!
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! What an awesome gift!
ReplyDeleteMine is a toss-up between my engagement ring and a broach my sister gave me.
Aw yay for lockets! Mr Soldier bought one for me and gave it to me the day before we got married which is a family tradition for him. I have yet to put photos in it so you have just inspired me to do that! I have to say though that right now my favourite piece that I wear happily every day is Mr Soldier's wedding ring around my neck : )
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful and thoughtful gift!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and thoughtful gift! It is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI will post on this soon. I've thought about posting it about for months and now I have a real reason!
ReplyDeleteI love cheap jewelry that looks really cute or rad :)
ReplyDeleteso my fav. piece is constantly changing. One of my besties bought me a really beautiful bracelett with a star clasp that has DREAM engraved on it. There is a tiny heart charm on it that she had my name engraved on. It's really cute and is so me!
Your locket is beautiful :)
My favorite piece of jewelry is my engagement ring; it was grandmothers and my mom gave it to my husband to give to me. It's the most important and precious thing I own.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet and such a beautiful gesture.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite, besides my wedding rings, is my good string of pearls. They.Are.Awesome.
I have a charm bracelet that David bought me back when we were dating. We've added several charms since then, for significant events. It's my favorite, but I hardly wear it because I can't fasten it by myself. Still working on fixing that.
ReplyDeleteI would say I like my wedding ring, but aside from that. I like this pearl necklace that I slightly stole from my mom. It was her's for years and I wore it for my prom among many other times. I took it after wearing it for my sisters wedding in 2007 and my mom has finally give up that she'll get it back. She actually said I could have it and one x-mas bought me a new pearl necklace with a gold chain and the same style single pearl with a diamond accent, but it wasn't the same as hers. Her chain isn't even gold its like a cheap link chain made out of some type of silver. It has a single pearl on it hanging there, no diamond or anything just that pearl. I love it and even though its not really that fancy I just love it. One day I'll get this white/yellow/rose gold ring my mom has but I'll wait for her to take it off before I steal it!
ReplyDeleteright now its my wedding band and engagemnt ring, other than that it's a pendant my husband brought me from Egypt called "cartouche", it has my name in latin on one side and on the other it's in egyptian hyroglifics. I love it.
ReplyDeletebtw I see you are planning to visit Plitvice Lakes in Croatia, I am Croatian so I took my husband all over Croaita and Plitvice are one of his favorite places. Just make sure you are ready to walk for hours. :)
Oh the locket is beautiful! What a thoughtful gift!
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite piece of jewelry is a ring that Ryan bought me before we were engaged. It's white gold with 5 tiny diamonds in a row. It's so simple but I get complimented on it all of the time:)
As a matter of fact, I know what my next post will be about! Thanks for the idea!
I just made myself my favorite new piece of jewelery! You know those necklaces people where these days... a long chain with a whole jumble of items at the bottom? Well I have wanted one for a while, but just could not justify wearing a jumble of items that have no meaning to me! So I made one, with items that have significance. I have a few charms that were gifts from my hubby, his dog tags, pearls (I wore them in my wedding and get a pearl item for each anniversary) and a large sparrow charm (my hubby has a sparrow tattoo across his heart with my name in it). I LOVE it! In fact... I am going to go write a post about it now! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures in your locket, beautiful!
I love your locket.
ReplyDeleteSheldon bought me this necklace when we decided on Crocker's name and I love it!

Oh that's such a pretty gift!
ReplyDeleteI think my pregnancy present from Mark is my favorite, aside from wedding rings. Though my Aggie ring never leaves my side either. I worked hard for that one!
That is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite piece is a diamond my husband got when he was stationed in Egypt before he met me. He knew he wanted to give it to his future wife someday. Surprised me with it the night before our wedding.
