Wow...time has just flown by today and I haven't even had time to blog.
Well...technically I did, but I was busy trying to perfect my free Snapfish Photo book, which I still haven't finished. Perhaps when I get home and have complete access to all my pictures. I didn't realize just how many pictures a 20 page album could hold and so I didn't upload enough of them that were good quality on my flash drive today.
Perhaps I can get that done tomorrow.
Ok...so my best friend Jess and I were talking last night about Pioneer Woman. You know the one with the awesome recipes? If you haven't heard of her, just venture over to the right side of my blog and click her link. Anyway.....she's in Oklahoma...as in she's living on a famous ranch in Oklahoma that is about 45 minutes away from my hometown and I never realized it until my friend mentioned her last name. Crazy no? All this time I could have been trying to finagle a dinner invitation from someone who lived such a short distance from me. Ok..so maybe that's a little crazy, but you catch my drift.
I think tonight I'm going to head over to Sara's new place and hang out with her. Sean should be doing some sort of airfield seizure today and into this evening so it gives me a good reason to get out of the house. I'm thiking perhaps some Thai food? Now that sounds good! Pad Thai is my absolute favorite. Anyone else a fan out there?
I hope that you guys didn't think I was whining yesterday in my blog about babies. It was more of a wistful post I suppose. I know I've mentioned this before but I do want to enjoy Europe without children for awhile, it's just that scary thoughts about deployments sometimes make me want to move that up. However, I know I can't live like that, so I'll just wait until I know the time is right for us as a couple to have a child.
I was sooo sick last night! I've been taking the same birth control for the last eight months or so, but at times it makes me very sick. I woke up last night around 1:00 a.m. and my stomach hurt so bad. Kind of how it feels when you have a stomach virus. Ok..TMI ahead, but I heaved a couple of times, but didn't actually throw-up. I ate a few bites of bread to settle my stomach and felt a little better, but this morning my stomach was so sore. I didn't go to bed on an empty stomach, which is when I take the pill, so I don't know what the problem was. It was awful though and now I'm scared to take the next pill. I cannot stand it if this happens two nights in a row. I literally got hardly any sleep last night because of it. Anyone else ever have this happen? Or do I just have the freaky reactions to things?
Well hope you guys have a great weekend! I'm not sure what I have planned for my weekend yet!
I had stomach issues last night/this morning too. I'm not sure what my problem was. But I woke up at 4:30 thinking I might throw up. Never did. But I had that feeling until maybe 2 this afternoon. So, I skipped out on my coffee this morning... and now I've got the raging caffeine headache to show for it.
ReplyDeletemy BC did some weird things with me, so i switched and look where that got me! :)
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend!!!
I would recommend talking to your doc and getting a new BC. Your symptoms sound awful! You don't want to be travelling across huge oceans with the possibility of bad tummy problems!
ReplyDeleteI have to find a good thai place around here! I love pad thai!!! It has been on my cravings list for awhile now.
ReplyDeleteYour post didn't sound whiney at all! I think most of us totally get how hard it is to want to have children but try and fit it into military life.
Have fun with Sara! I hope you feel better!
I had problems like that and I went off the pill. Quite frankly the Marine Corps is a good enough form of birth control.
ReplyDeleteSorry you felt so bad last night! I was feeling nauseous the first day I started my new birth control, but that could have been caused by something else? I usually get sick, though, when I pop a couple (like when you forget one day).
ReplyDeleteAnd no worries about sounding whiny. Doesn't compare to the dark moods I get in! It's nice to know someone else has the bug :)
I am SO excited about the snapfish album. I just don't know what theme to go with!
ReplyDeletedon't have kids in europe. not if you want to travel a lot and for cheap. it's hard enough trying to get my husband to stay home long enough to travel sometimes, but adding a baby into that would be ten times as much work. i get wistful sometimes, but then i realize i want my mom there, and i want to shop at old navy for maternity clothes, and i want to have a baby shower with my friends from college. all those reasons keep me grounded.
ReplyDeletehope you have a great weekend!
about the BC pills; I just realized that I've been waking up most nights around 4 AM feeling sick to my stomach. I never thought about it being the pill because I've been on it for about 3 years. But come to think of it I used to take it in the morning. I wonder if not having food in your stomach for so many hours after taking the pill can make you feel sick?
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you find anything out! I'm not sure I want to go off the pill-- we really aren't ready for a baby with a deployment coming up and having just got married. But it might be nice to have a bit of a sex drive and no tummy aches at night!
I tried making that snapfish photo book too, it's great, but so much more time consumming than I thought! I didn't upload enough photos and then too many, so it took forever to format. Anyway, I'm determined to finish because I think it would make a great gift to Keith on our first Christmas. Sorry to hear about the birth control pains.
