Preview Pics

As I am working open to close today I won't have time to edit large amounts of the pics from this weekend, but here's a few that I chose as a quick preview for you guys.

You could see this view from the terrace at our hotel.

There were tons of fountains all over town. This one was my fave.

I believe this is the oldest church in Innsbruck. It was GORGEOUS inside.

Lovely mountain view from Innsbruck

Look at that ski jump! I could never go down that. I know they've had the Olympics in Innsbruck twice, but I'm not sure if this was built for the last Olympics which were in like 76 or if this is newer. At any rate it's awesome!

Anniversary in Austria

Originally Sean and I had planned on staying in Austria for Friday and driving back late Saturday evening, however, as I mentioned in the previous post, we were stupid American tourists and left our car in a garage that was closed all weekend. It turned out fine though, because we really enjoyed the extra days we stayed in Innsbruck.

Once we got to Innsbruck, we checked into our hotel: The Romantik, which I really liked. The first night we stayed there we had a much nicer room then the second and third nights we stayed there. The hotel had an AWESOME breakfast. In Italy, the breakfast consists of coffee and a something like a crossiant. In Austria it was meats, smoked salmon, cheeses, fresh fruit, assorted rolls and breads, cereal, yogurt, juice, champagne, etc. I was in HEAVEN!

Most of the weekend we walked around the old town, looking at the historic places, popping into shops and eating at restaurants. I ate so much this weekend. So much in fact, that it's not even funny. Sushi, Indian food, two or three kebabs, apple struedel....the list goes on and on. Don't worry, I took pictures of all of it so you guys don't feel like you're missing out on anything.

I LOVED Austria! Now don't get me wrong, Italy is a cool place to live, but Austria is awesome. Everyone was so friendly and food was to die for. I loved the mountains too. Breathtaking!

The only thing we didn't do that I was wanting to go see was the Alpenzoo, which is the highest altitude zoo in Europe if not the world.

Overall it was a wonderful place to celebrate Sean's birthday and our anniversary. I highly recommend it.

Look for pics soon!

Quick Update

Just a quick update for you guys. Sean and I are in Innsbruck, Austria. We planned on coming home yesterday, but made the mistake of parking our car in a parking garage that closes on the weekend. Hence, we are here until Monday morning when it opens.

We are having a great time and celebrating our 2nd anniversary today.

Pictures, stories to follow.

A Lot On My Plate

I've been really bad about blogging this week and I haven't been reading or commenting blogs as much as I normally do. I honestly haven't been keeping up with anything this past week.

There's some things going on with work, the Army and just life in general and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I'd blog about it, but I don't think it's the right time and things always change, so I'd hate to blog about something and then turn around and correct myself. So please just bear with me.

I wanted also to say hello to my new followers. Also...if you follow me or regularly read me and I don't have you listed on my link list to the side, then PLEASE tell me so I can read you too. That is, if you want me to.

I think today is a great day for a Forever 21 order. I will be ordering (if they are in still in stock, the two green dresses I shared with you guys about a week ago)

I love this dress:

But after thinking about it I'm not sure where I'd wear it. If I can't picture myself wearing something a lot, then I usually don't buy it.

Oh..and I tripped up the stairs today at the USO. In front of people. Embarrassing? Yes. Painful? Yes. I already have a huge bruise on my knee.

Ouch

Blogging Hiatus and Question of the Day

I know I've been MIA for a few days, but it honestly wasn't planned. Sean and I went out with friends this weekend, since two of them are getting ready to leave the Army. Friday night was fun (Read: we didn't get in until 6 a.m.) So we spent Saturday recovering lost sleep and then that night attended a BBQ.

Yesterday I don't really have an excuse other than the fact I stared at my keyboard for 30 minutes and couldn't think of a thing to blog about.

So todays question of the day is this:

Do you have any unusual or strange talents?

Let me explain what I mean, I have this thing where someone will randomly enter my mind (not celeb) and within 2 days I'll see them. I might not have seen them in 3 years or more, but I'll still randomly see them. This happened the other day when Sean and I were discussing a solider on post and as soon as I said something about her she walked in the USO. It honestly kind of freaks me out at times.

Care to share yours?

Photograph Friday- Cinque Terre

This is only a handful of the pictures I took while in Cinque Terre. I took around 300 pics and have yet to even edit 10% of them. Editing takes FOREVER!

Enjoy!

This is Manorola, which also happened to be my favorite of the four that we had time to visit.

The pathway between Riomaggiore and Manorla is called Pathway of Love. So naturally, when I saw this couple holding hands in front of me on the path, I had to snap this pic.

Waves crashing on the rocks near Corniglia

Flowers + view = AMAZING

The beach in Vernazza. This is where I actually got my feet wet. So refreshing!

Goodbye Cinque Terre! Promise I'll come back soon!

I'm like an 8th Grade Girl

I say I'm like an 8th grade girl because this blog is going to be about my crushes.

Yeah...that's right, my crushes!

First of all, I have a few girl crushes. (Don't tell me you've never had a girl crush.)

Reese is awesome. She's classy, beautiful and an excellent actress. Doesn't she seem like she would be a great friend?

I think Scarlett is gorgeous! She's a curvy girl and I love that she doesn't conform to Hollywood's idea that everyone has to look the same.

I've loved Ryan Reynolds since he was in Van Wilder. I think he's absolutely hilarious. Ever seen Just Friends? If not, go rent it NOW!

Last, but not least: Justin Timberlake. I admit, he was my favorite member of NSync and I just knew he was going to have a successful solo career. Have you seen him on Saturday Night Live? He's freakin hilarious!

Best sketch EVER! (Ok..maybe not ever, but best one in awhile)

Any crushes you aren't too embarrassed to share?
