Wish List!

Sean and I are trying to budget right now and add some padding to our savings account and of course I keep seeing tons of things I want to buy.

Here's my wish list right now:

I'm down to one bottle of perfume and I really would like another one. I've loved Vera Wang perfume for years, but have never bought it. Maybe next payday!

Cute, simple dress from Forever 21. What's not to love?

Sean and I have been talking about getting Boomer a "friend". We both want another Min-Pin, as we really like the breed. I don't want to make two dogs live in a small apartment though, so we've decided to shelve this idea until we get back to the States.

I LOVE this ring. I blame my love for Fleur de lis on living in Louisiana for a year. I found this ring on Etsy.

Wednesday Wish List

Just a few items on my wish-list.

A new pair of Asics Gel Nimbus. They are my favorite shoe to run in and it's high time I got a new pair.

The Canon 24-70mm lens. I WANT this lens. Too bad it's a bit pricey.

Love this shirt. Screams summer to me. Forever 21 of course!

Ever since I saw this dress on the Forever 21 website I wanted it. I went back a few days ago to buy it and it was nowhere to be seen. So...if you see it in the store, get me a size medium and I'll send money to you. I'm not even joking!

If You Could Choose...

Yesterday on the Army wives forums I'm a part of someone posted a question about where would you want to be stationed and not want to be stationed. Just kind of a fun little question to think about. Of course everyone had their different opinions and some people's list of places they would not want to go were my top picks!

So for you military gals out there where would you want to be stationed and not be stationed? Where have you been that you loved and were their places where you just wanted to leave ASAP?

Actually I'd love to hear civilian answers as well. So everyone feel free to share!

Here's my list of where I wouldn't mind being stationed:
1. Fort Carson, Colorado
2. Fort Richardson, Alaska
3. Fort Riley, Kansas
4. Fort Benning, Georgia
5. Fort Stewart, Georgia
6. Fort Lewis, Washington

Here's where I really do not want to go:
1. Fort Bragg, NC
2. Fort Hood, TX

Mainly I don't want to go to either of those because they are so big! I've also heard a mixture of bad things about Fayetteville outside of Bragg.

There were a lot of people that said they wouldn't want to go to Fort Polk, but other than it being a smaller post, I love it! Bigger cities are only about 45 minutes away with malls/ bigger restaurants and that's very similar to where I grew up. Plus Louisiana is an awesome place to explore and they have wonderful food.

So let's hear it everyone. Where would you choose?

My Wish List

Now that I'm working I've been thinking about some things that I want to buy. After I put a dent in my bills of course, have to be a responsible adult before I indulge myself. I've seperated the items into things we need and things I want.

Things We Need

A new Queen sized mattress. We are currently sleeping on a very uncomfortable full sized bed. This is probably what I'm going to get first. I need a comfy, large bed!

Floor lamps- at least two. Our living room gets kind of dark.

Things I Want

A Chi straightner. This humidity in Louisiana does nothing for my hair. I need agood straightner to combat this.

The new Canon Rebel XTI. One of my goals/dreams is to be a professional photographer. I'm going to buy this camera for my 25th birthday present to myself.

A new laptop. I've never had a laptop, but I want one. This isn't a necessity since Sean and I are going to get a new desktop for ourselves, but I would SO love to have my own laptop. *Sigh*

Of course the obvious clothes, shoes and various seasons of my favorite T.V. shows are also on the list, but those aren't really noteworthy.

Sean still is in the field, so looks like Boomer and I will be hanging out tonight. I'm contemplating going to the gym to run, but I'm also hungry and would like to eat. I don't like to eat before going running though as it makes my stomach unsettled. What to do?

One thing I am going to do tomorrow is take my camera to downtown Leesville and take pictures. I work on Main Street and while walking to the post office today I noticed so many things I want to take pictures of. If any of them are good I'll try to post them tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great start to their weekend!
