Wednesday Randoms

I don't understand girls who tan and use fake tanner until they take on an orange glow. Seriously...just stop.

I leave for London on Friday. I'm very, very excited.

I wish my apartment would magically clean itself. Somehow, although I sweep almost daily (or Sean does) there is always a plethora of dog hair. How does so much hair come off a 12 lb dog?

I just finished season 2 of Damages. If you've never watched the series you should. I love it!

Were you guys aware that PF Changs now makes frozen skillet meals? I bought one and I'm going to try it out tonight. I'll have to report back if it's good or not.

I want these boots:



They look comfy and they are from Target, so what's not to love? I have a pair of really cute tan boots, but they have a higher heel and wandering around a European city in boots with a heel is not a fun experience.

Oh and what is up with this new Facebook phenomena where people post maps of where they are at and what they are doing. Hello stalkers?

Four Thoughts

1. I love bagels with cream cheese that has chives in it.

2. I entered Pioneer Woman's latest photography giveaway. I really hope I win!

3. Speaking of giveaways I should be having one tomorrow. I just need to nail down a few details. If not, look for it on Monday!

4. I've been watching Samantha Who all day. My thoughts? A. Being unemployed has its perks and B. I really like Samantha Who. Why'd they have to cancel it?

Randoms

This morning I was up early as my landlord was supposed to be here at 8 to come look at the water stain in our kitchen. Yeah...he never showed up, but I did see the guy cutting the grass doing this:



Yeah..that would be him peeing. I saw him look around and then do it. I stood there for a good minute debating whether or not to get my camera, then finally did and when I came back he was still there! A ha ha ha.

I've had the hiccups off and on since 3:00 today. They are actually to the point now where they are hurting me. I hate hiccups!

Oh and I'm completely obsessed with Spain at the current moment. I'm watching a Rick Steves' DVD on Spain as I type this and you can bet I have like 3 books right now that I'm reading about Spain. I'm not sure where the obsession comes from. France? Sure. Germany? Why not. Spain? Hell yes! I'm hoping to take a trip there before Christmas, but we shall see.

I'm trying to see the positives in Sean being away and I came up with these 2 things.

1. I have the whole bed to myself and so I sleep better.
2. I can wear not so cute undergarments without hearing comments about it.

Randoms of Yours Truly...and the long awaited hair pic

I always love hearing random things about people so I live for tags like this.

1. I have a thing about numbers, even though I hate math. For example, when pumping gas I like the amount to end evenly on the dollar. If I'm setting my alarm clock I have to set it in a number ending in a O or 5. Same way when I'm cooking something in the microwave.

2. I've never seen The Notebook or Titanic all the way through. I'm not really a fan of chick flicks.

3. My family makes fun of me because they insist I say batato instead of potato. I don't think this is true though.

4. Before this year I'd never had a massage and I've still never had a pedicure.

5. If I could go back and do it over I'd choose a different wedding dress. Paying out of pocket for my own wedding didn't leave me enough money to get the dress of my dreams.

6. When I was younger I pretty much refused to eat meat. Exceptions were hamburgers and chicken fingers. I loathed roast and refused to eat steak. Thank goodness I got over that as an adult. (I was 20 before I really started liking steak)

7. I love to dress up, but I could be perfectly content to wear a hoodie, jeans and tennis shoes everyday. Alas that would put me on What Not to Wear so I try to mix it up.
