Boomer and I just got back from a walk around post and Sean and I are trying to recover from our night out last night. I was the DD, but since I'm now an old person, even getting in at 3 a.m. makes me pretty lazy the next day.
Sean and I decided to go out with some of his friends last night since we hadn't really experienced the "night life" of Vicenza yet. I had a good time for the most part and even had a decent Mojito, but as the night wore on we ended up being baby-sitters for a good majority of the group and the drama that goes along with going out with Army guys makes me tired really quickly.
My mom and brother are coming in next Monday and I'm super pumped. I haven't seen them since we left for Italy and I'm excited to show them around.
I have a couple of giveaways coming up, so be on the lookout for those. Not sure exactly when they will be, but definitely one will be in June.
I now leave you with the strawberry shortcake that I made yesterday for dessert. I made pound cake(with the help of Duncan Hines), sliced up some fresh strawberries and added a dollup of Cool Whip (extra creamy mind you) The PERFECT summer dessert.
