Very Special Day

Today is a very special day in our household, it's Boomer's 2nd birthday.

Yes...I am one of those people who celebrate my dog's birthday. I mean why not? I don't have children and Boomer is a special member of our family.

Our tradition is that Boomer gets a new toy (stuffed raccoon this year) and a kid's hamburger meal.

Towards the end though he got the bag stuck on his nose.




Sean bought me this tiger at Oktoberfest. (Don't ask...I blame it on the booze) Anyway...Boomer LOVES it and insisited on chewing on it the other day. He played nice for a minute though and let me snap a pic.

Boomer's Birthday!

On my way home from work I stopped and got Boomer a hamburger Happy Meal and also a new squeaky toy.

He was quite delighted by both presents.

I love how his head is down in the box. It was funny to watch him eat the fries. He didn't scarf them down, but instead delicately picked each one out of the box and ate it.



This is his best pleading look for Sean to please throw his toy.
