Here's Your Sign

I put this on my FB page, but I thought I'd put it over here as well.

I went to the pool today on-post and this is the sign that greeted me:

"Pool is closed today until 2pm. Thank you for your patients."

Ahem..how did someone NOT see that misspelling?

I wanted to stick around and ask, but I wasn't waiting 2 hours for the pool to open and decided I'd be snarky about it online instead.

If only I'd had my camera!

  3. Hahaha. I was walking through a private University near my house and I read, "Parking Lot, Comming soon"--- this was a professionally printed board made of a very durable material! Perhaps someone could have proofread that before sending it off to the printer?

    I feel you. I'm a grammar freak.

  7. lol! I think it is so hilarious when you see misspellings like that, when we were house hunting a few years ago we looked at an apartment complex and the brochure had so many errors, we just got up and left! umm spell check people!! lol
