I'm a few days late on this, but I just watched the MTV Movie Awards yesterday.
Did anyone catch the Tom Cruise and JLO dance number? I found it funny, yet incredibly awkward at the same time. Sean and I literally were silent and then looked over at each other like, "What is going on here?" I'd like to know who brainstormed at MTV to come up with that combo.
Did you see it? Thoughts?
Can't type...
ReplyDeleteUm...WTF? I can't even think of anything constructive to say about that. It just made my brain hurt.
It's weird because it doesn't even look like him. I actually went to YouTube to find a couple other versions in case one would give me a hint that it was Tom Cruise. No such luck. That was beyond weird.
ReplyDeleteA little entertaining. Mostly weird.
OMG I thought it was hilarious to see those 2 together! WOW!!
ReplyDeletehahaha whoaaa...um, awkward much?? Thanks for sharing, definitely worth a good laugh :)
ReplyDeleteYou know it came from the movie Tropic Thunder, right? The way he's dressed and the way he dances is the character he played in that movie. He was some high powered executive movie dude who had sexy women dancing with him and such.
ReplyDeleteWhat a tragic mess. It was like watching a car accident...you don't want to look but you just can't help it!
ReplyDeleteIt was weird the first time we saw it we were kinda flabbergasted but then we hit rewind and just laughed with it. I have to say as much as I dislike Tom Cruise, I never in a million years would have thought he could dance. lol
ReplyDeleteI mean I get it from Tropic Thunder and I thought it was funny but why do it over a year later. That movie was out LAST spring.
ReplyDeleteI did see it and the entire time, my husband was cracking up. I more or less just felt incredibly embarrassed for him. It was...interesting to say the least. But I do think it's about time Tom Cruise loosened up and had some fun.
ReplyDeleteThis was one of my favorite moments from the show. I guess they're making a movie based on his Tropic Thunder character now.
