I think I've mentioned this before, but Sean is the cook in our household. Yes, I can cook and quite honestly I can make some really tasty food, but it's Sean that is really the cook. One of my favorite things that he makes is breakfast. He goes all out, pancakes with fresh fruit, sausage, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns...you name it, he does it.
Well, I always try to make sausage the way he makes it. We like to heavily sprinkle a bit of Tony's on our sausage and then cook them. Well, mine always end up way to salty and barley edible. Until today! Today I cooked them almost as good as Sean cooks them, but not quite.
As you can see I like to celebrate the small things in life.
However, today would not be complete without something odd and completely random happening to me.
Our house phone rang this morning and since only Sean and my parents know that number I assumed it was them. So I answer it...and it's neither one of them. It's some Middle or Far-East sounding guy on the phone. He spoke English and proceeded to tell me he was following up a call from when we met and I gave him my number.
Obviously I know I've never given this man my number.
A. I don't give my number to random,creepy dudes
B. I don't even know my house number without looking at my cellphone
So I ask him where I supposedly met him. All he would tell me was it was eight months ago at some entrance to a place and I had a child with me. I tried explaining to him I never gave him a number, I don't have a child and whoever gave him the number must have lied and made one up, but he wasn't having it. Basically he told me he didn't believe me, but that was ok because he would no longer waste my time.
Yeah...I have NO idea.
Random creepy call! I have been getting text messages on my phone telling me to leave this person's "sistah" alone. I have no clue who this person is! I told them they had the wrong number, they told me there was no way and started text arguing with me. So strange!
ReplyDeleteWeird and more than slightly creepy! Congrats on the kitchen success! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's great about breakfast turning out so well!! Yay!
ReplyDeleteBoo for the creepy call though...
That is a creepy phone call to get. Glad your breakfast turned out great :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's random!
ReplyDeletewow, creeeeeepy.
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm relatively new to blogspot and also an Army wife (soon to be officer wife :-) This is my page www.latinusarmywife.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteIt took me 7 years to learn how to cook after I married my dh because I was really spoiled and never had to cook before. So you'll get to the righ amount of spice you'll see! About the creepy guy, nect time just hang up the phone. When I recieve wrong number calls I usually say "you got the wrong number, I'm sorry" and that's it because when they keep talking to you they usually want to get some kind of info from you. Like for example...do you have children? Where do you live? What palces you go to? Are you home alone? etc... I'm really paranoic abt those things but it's better safe that sorry. Hope the creep doesn't call again but if he does please, just hang up the phone.
Yeah I would say that's a bit sketchy and creepy. Hope that's the last and only time he calls!
ReplyDeleteI have never tried cooking sausage with that seasoning. I am definitely going to have to try it.
ReplyDeleteWow that is scary and creepy.
ReplyDeleteCreepy! I hate stuff like that!
ReplyDeleteHaha that is random! You're nicer than me, I would have probably just hung up on him!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is from New Orleans so we always have sort of Tony's in our house!
Um, wow. Sounds like a creeper to me! He was probably hoping you'd think you just forgot who he was and give in to his evil plans!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making mostly-good sausage!
Weird call! I'd be a little freaked out! Hopefully he does leave you alone. And whoohoo on the breakfast sausage! It's the small victories that count! :)
ReplyDeleteWe pretty much haven't given our house number to anyone. But its always ringing, and the few times we've answered its always been telemarketers. So we've pretty much taken to never answering the phone in our house.
ReplyDeleteAnd before I lived in Louisiana I had never heard of Tony's. But now I use it pretty much all the time
Don't you just love stuff like that? He sounds like a creep. I hope you were careful and didn't give out any information. Be careful, I want you to stay safe!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm gonna have to try that on my sausage :) And as for Mr. Creepers, talk about persistent!!
ReplyDeleteEverything is better with Tony's.
ReplyDeleteD
Congrats on the kitchen success!
