First of all I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who gave their honest opinion and commented yesterday, I really do appreciate it. I will still be doing Etsy posts in the future. One bad incident will not keep me from posting those, so if you enjoy them, don't worry, I'm not getting rid of them.
Now, in honor of my trip to Florence tomorrow (I'm going to the Accademia, where the statue of David is) I decided to post a picture from my last trip to Florence.
I love street art and this guy was very talented. It's amazing to me what people can create with an empty sidewalk and some chalk!
You are very talented yourself! And that is amazing. I used to love to watch the people that did sidewalk art when we lived in Louisiana.
ReplyDeletegreat photo!!! Have fun in Florence. That's—hand's down—my favorite city. Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteI posted Florence pictures today too :) Have fun, David is amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow Melissa, that's an amazing photo! Funny story of the David statue. In college, one of my friends gave me a magnetic "Dress up David" doll for the fridge. You could dress him like a gay cowboy, gangster etc. People got a kick out of it. Have an excellent time.
ReplyDeleteHave lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteGlad the bad experience won't keep you from your posts :)
Enjoy your trip!
ReplyDeleteI love the sidewalk drawings but I love how you accented your photo even more!
*sigh* Yet one more thing for me to live vicariously through you. ;) Have a fantastic trip!!
ReplyDeleteArt like that is amazing! But so are your photographs because you are immortalizing that piece forever!
ReplyDeleteHave so much fun! And in the words of my mother, "Be safe and watch your back!"

ReplyDeleteYour photo of the street artist is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! That is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow! That street guy is good!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pic!
ReplyDeleteThat is AMAZING! And the picture itself is great too! I love "The girl with a pearl earring"!
ReplyDeleteWow, his drawing is amazing. And I have to admit I'm turning a shade of green right now, David!?! Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteAlmost forgot, I used the Dutch Oven today for the first time to make a roast. It was delicious, thanks!
That's an amazing photo! And the chalk picture looks like "Girl with the Pearl Earring"...but I could be wrong. Street art is so cool - in my high school art class we did chalk pictures one year at this festival downtown. It's really fun, & you get really messy.
