Flickr Users
Ok, I have a question for all you Flickr users out there. Is it worth it to upgrade to the pro account? I just have the basic for now, but am plan on using it somewhat as a gallery of prints for my photography business.
I know there are other hosting sites out there, but honestly all I'm wanting to know about right now is the merits of upgrading my Flickr account.

Yes! I think it would be smart for you to get pro :) I have had pro from almost 2 years and love having unlimited amount of space to upload.

I have it for all my really good pictures and I think it's worth it. I have had people contacting me to use my pictures too. It helps you get exposure as a photographer. :)

ReplyDeleteI have had a pro account since 2006 and it is well worth the money for me. I put all of my pictures on there for family to look at since they are so far away. Two computer crashes later, and I am very happy that I had uploaded them all to the internet.

ReplyDeletePro gives you more space, and more ways to organize your photos into set, collections, etc. Definitely worth it. I paid to be Pro until people started stealing my pictures of LT and reposting them, and then I abandoned Flickr for Facebook. Make sure you watermark!
ReplyDeleteI definitely think its worth it, even if its just for the storage space. I've been uploading my photos on flickr for almost 4 years now. Which works out really well for me, since the only place I have a lot of my pictures is through flickr. It was nice to know when my laptop died a few months ago I didn't loose any pictures since they're all saved online.
