So..actually Month 1 was over a few days ago, but I neglected to write a blog then, so...here we go.
In Month One I:
-Went back to the States to spend the holidays with friends and family
-Ate my weight in Mexican food
-Got to talk to Sean on an almost daily basis once we figured out our schedules
-Bought a new laptop as Sean took ours with him
-Read a few books including: Scarlett, Midwives, A Good Woman and I'm currently reading Firefly Lane
-Started a new weight loss plan in which I signed up for Spark People and am currently keeping myself accountable with my exercise and what I eat
My family showing how much we missed Sean this Christmas
busy month. glad you got to talk to sean so often!
ReplyDeleteLove that picture! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteDid you know you can upload pictures to snapfish and shutterfly and make them into postcards? I send my hubby my best pictures that way when he's deployed... they're a little more durable on card stock! :)
What an adorable picture!! Glad you got to hear from Sean so much, congrats on one month down!!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are keeping yourself busy. I love that you have such a positive attitude towards everything. You don't see this that often anymore. :)
ReplyDeleteAw, the Christmas picture is so dang cute! Sounds like you're off to a great start with handling your deployment!

ReplyDeleteGood job on keeping yourself busy and setting goals. Yay for distractions!

ReplyDeleteAre you enjoying Firefly Lane? I bought it last year on a mad sale for $3, and haven't decided whether or not to read it!
ReplyDeleteSparkPeople is actually kind of awesome! I was on there for awhile a couple years ago. But, I followed their plan to a T and lost...nothing. Then I switched to weight watchers and lost 17 lbs in a month haha. I did use SparkPeople's calculator a bit while on WW too!
The first month is the hardest!! You rocked it girlie. So proud of you.
ReplyDelete:)
One month down... get it girl!! You did great with keeping yourself busy. I actually heard about that website on The Today Show this morning. I haven't looked at it, but supposedly, it's wonderful!
