Am I The Only One?

Who looks to see what the people in front of me in line are buying at the grocery store?

Who reads five books at the same time?

Who collects postcards from every place I go?

Who isn't excited about New Moon coming out? (sorry to all my Twilight readers out there)

Who thinks about Mexican food on a daily basis?

  1. I collect playing cards, and I think my max "at a time" reading so far is 3. And yes, I've been craving Mexican for weeks now.

  2. I go so far as to look at what the people in front of me are buying and judging them for it. 3 giant jugs of Ragu? Really? 5 boxes of Little Debbies? Gross!

  7. I cannot wait for New Moon, my husband leaves for Basic Training on the 15th and I am seriously considering going to the double feature if it is in my area and just enjoying Twilight and New Moon. No kids just me and a TV screen... and other random people :)

  8. I'm always nosy about what people put in their carts but if I do it at the register I risk wanting what they have and having to go back! So I try not to do that one.
I collect shot glasses from every place I go so postcards don't seem so weird now hu?
Twilight movies suck. End of story.

  9. I usually buy like $150 worth of books at a time. No worries there honey! And I hated Twilight so I'm really not excited about New Moon. You're not alone!

  10. I'll end up buying 5 books at once and never reading any of them because I can't decide which one to start on first. I have 92390 postcards...even some from here so send to other people just for fun! And, well, teenybopper vampires aren't really my thing. I'm with ya :)

    2. in the middle of at least three books right now.

  13. I could eat mexican food every day and I think about it every day since there's good mexican here. Lamb chops for lunch will have to suffice!

  14. I'm not excited about New Moon either. I read the books, but haven't had the stomach to try watching the first movie yet... I'm glad I read the books because now I understand the cultural references, and they kept me amused while the movers were packing up my house, but that's pretty much it. :)

  15. I'm not excited about New Moon either. My best friend however planned her entire vacation in Forks, WA to see some Twilight crap. Still trying to figure out what happened to her.

  16. Until just now, I'd forgotten about the guacamole craving I've had every day this week.

    Thanks.

  17. Not sure about the rest, but I definitely think about mexican on a daily basis. Multiple times a day. They know me by name at senor tequilas. When i lived in SF, they had crappy mexican food. I'm really way more of a fan of okla-mex than real mexican!

I was craving a chimichanga once and i went to a "mexican" restaurant in Austria. I thought maybe I'd get lucky. I ordered a chicken chimichanga off the menu. What I got ... a burrito full of grilled vegetables. :(

  18. Hey! I haven't commented in so long. I have been sort of in a blogging slump. Anyway, I always try to read too many books at once, and I'm also not a Twilight fan. Oh well! You are not alone :)

  19. 1. I was looking so hard at the guy's groceries behind me just yesterday that I almost apologized to him. I don't know why it fascinates me so much..

    2. I'm reading 3 books right now! I'm not usually like that.

    3. Watch your mouth. I'm pumped for New Moon. Have you given it a chance? A lot of people have tried to fight it but get sucked right in.

    4. Maybe every other day for Mexican!

  20. So not the only one on any of the fore-mentioned. I'm right there with ya.

  22. I am such a people watcher. So yeah I check out their carts, what they are wearing, saying, how they are moving and whatever else!

I buy/bookmooch/borrow tons of books. I only read one at a time though..maybe too. But how I love getting books.

Twilight...meh, I can live without the ANGST.

As for the food...it's not so much Mexican as NEW Mexican! Now, that is some good stuff!

    I'm a sucky collector--so I fail that one.

  23. "New Moon", no thanks. I guess glistening vampires aren't my thing :P I read alot of books, but I'll tear through 5 a week just so I don't have to read them all at one time.

  24. I totally scope out what the people in front of me are buying.

  25. I am so not interested in the Twilight series at ALL. It does NOTHING for me!

  26. Yeah, I'm still on the Twilight high. I'm excited for the movie, even though New Moon was my least fave of the set.
Mexican everyday sounds perfect for me too. Speaking of Mexican, they're opening another La Fiesta in Bville kinda over there by the bowling alley. Yum!
