So...last night I took some pictures with my new 50mm lens. The picture were of myself, since I consider it to be more of a "portrait" lens. I added a few to my Facebook and MySpace and in turn changed my default pics. No big deal right?
Wrong.
I checked my e-mail and noticed I had a few comments on the new pictures so I went over to Facebook to check them out. One of the comments was from a guy I went to high school with. His comment? " Stop....enough already!" As in I shouldn't have put these pictures up.
Excuse me? I didn't force a gun to your head to make you look at my pictures! Geeze...just ignore the fact that I added them. I don't understand the need for people to be rude about insignificant things. I made my way over to his page though and left this message:
"I hope for your sake that the comment you left was a joke"
Some people!
I had something kind of weird happen to me on post today. I was walking from the commissary to the USO (Sean had the car) and an older lady stopped her car and asked me if I needed a ride. Since I was close to the USO I politely declined and said thank you, but then across the street walking with groceries I noticed an very obviously pregnant lady and her husband. I had to wonder why she didn't stop and ask them if they needed a ride.
I have tomorrow off. Woo hoo! I'm thinking of soaking up some sun at the Villagio pool. My pale skin is in desperate need of some tanning.
Some people take Facebook way too seriously. How hard is it for guy to overlook your pics? Maybe he has a crush on you or something :)
ReplyDeleteI think some people make it their job to hang out on the internet all day and make rude comments on blogs, FB, etc.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I wish that facebook and myspace had never been invented. People take it all way too seriously and it causes far too many fights just because of peoples comments and placements on peoples top friends. I really had a friend get mad at me once because she wasn't on my top friends and she had put me on hers. I hadn't seen the girl since middle school and it was freshman year of college! Get real.
ReplyDeleteSome people are so rude...and not worth worrying about.
ReplyDeleteThat's just bizarre behavior. Why would someone be so mean about something so silly? Ugh.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your pool time!
Very silly! Sounds like he had nothing better to do but look through all of those pics!
ReplyDeleteHave fun tomorrow. Don't forget the sunblock!
How rude of that guy! Seriously it's not like you have to go look at someone's page!
ReplyDeleteYeah that's really weird that he would say enough already. I too wonder if he still likes you or something. I change my profile pic and upload pictures like every other day! I have 114 photo albums on facebook!
ReplyDeleteWow that is so rude! I can't believe what jerks some people are!
ReplyDeleteI think your blog is just awesome so I'm giving you a "One Lovely Blog" award! Stop by my blog to retrieve it!

People are so odd... at least your post happenings are far less than the incidents on Ft Lewis the last few months... makes me want to rething moving on post... almost! LOL
ReplyDeleteWow... that's random! I wonder what his deal was.
ReplyDeleteThat was nice of the lady to offer the ride, but I wonder why she picked you? Maybe because you were alone, and the pregnant lady was with her hubby? No idea!
I laid out last weekend and got just a touch of color. I need more, but I get so bored laying out! I kind of miss having someone to lay out with and gossip and talk to! :)
Mmm. Sun. What's that like?
ReplyDeletePS- Delete the "friend," no need for that crap!
What a tool! Who says stuff like that, really....
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree delete the friend. Why would you say that to anyone?
ReplyDeleteSome of my husbands friends tell him how annoying it is how many pictures of our baby I post! They took me off their friends list because they didnt want to see the pictures! Great friends huh.
