Just a Recap

I had a great Easter weekend and I hope everyone else did too.

Sean and I ended up going to church at the chapel on-post, which we had yet to attend, so I'm glad we finally got ourselves in gear and went. I liked the service, although it was much different than what I'm used to. I was raised Pentecostal, so a traditional Protestant service is a big change from normal. It was still good though and I enjoyed going.

Sean and I's Easter supper consisted of a steak for him and potato casserole for the both of us. I wasn't really that hungry so I was just fine with some potato casserole.

I got on the scale this morning and realized I weigh less now than I have since I was in high school. Talk about excited! I had to rush in the living room to tell Sean.

I'm sure that will be cancelled out tonight when we go to eat at Hotel Giada, a local place that's supposed to be heavenly. Of course I need to check to see if they are actually open since today is a holiday for Italians. Sean and I wanted to have a nice dinner together before he left for Germany. He's leaving on Thursday to get an MRI done and immediately afterwards he'll be joining everyone else for several weeks of training. Needless to say I'm trying to get in some couple time before that.

I checked my email this morning and it appears that Beachcamera has already shipped my lenses. That's why I LOVE doing business with them, they are so prompt and I've never had a complaint with them. I highly recommend you use them if you ever buy a camera or any equipment.

I think that's all that's new with me. Sorry this has been sort of a boring post.

I promise excitement and laughs soon.
