So yesterday when I was at the commissary I picked up something that I thought might be good, but my beliefs were confirmed when I tried it last night.
That's right. Pumpkin flavored eggnog. I love eggnog and I love pumpkin pie and this is the perfect combination of the both of those tastes. I almost melted onto the floor when I took my first sip.
For those of you that aren't Pumpkin Eggnog fans, they have other flavors too like Cinnamon, Gingerbread, Sugar Cookie and Vanilla. It's made by Hood and it's to die for!
Last night I made some delish Taco Soup that I first saw on either Make Mine a Mojito or Blue-Eyed Bride's site. I'm not sure which, but at any rate it was so good! Sean loved it and honestly so did I. It was really low in WW points too so that was a plus (even though I'm not following the WW plan)
Sean is now on this big weight-loss kick. He's worse than a girl! He started counting calories yesterday and all I heard all day was what amount of calories he had left and blah blah blah. I'm all for losing weight, but I cannot count calories. I'm not a math person so that's my excuse. He's hopping on the scale every chance he gets and was disappointed this morning when he hadn't lost any more weight. I swear! What happened to my potato loving husband? In reality, it's good for me that he's on this weight-loss kick because it makes it easier for me to eat heathier. When he's eating normally he makes way too fattening foods!
Sean and I stopped by housing yesterday and set-up our pre-inspection and date that we are moving out. So, it's official. My last day in Louisiana will be December 19th. We have our last inspection that morning at 10:00 and then we'll be on the road and back in Oklahoma by that evening. Hard to believe it's coming up so quickly!
So I love Forever 21, but this little outfit on their website?
I'm going to have to say no. It reminds me of a homeless person. I'm just not digging that look.
Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!
Haha, agreed that does look like the stylish version of a homeless person ;)
ReplyDeleteoooh girl I like your taste .. pumpkin egg nog sounds awesome... and i KNOW forever 21 is awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's been so long since we've had eggnog! I totally agree it is soo hard to count calories, I can't do it either! I will look at the back of a package no matter what it is and then just eat it anyway, ok not everything! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG you guys are moving so quickly!!! So exciting!!!
ReplyDeleteI used to love eggnog until I got really sick after drinking it. It's not as good coming back up. However, maybe I can finally join the eggnoggers again by drinking the flavored versions.
ReplyDeleteThe first thing I thought when I saw that outfit was the Olsen twins!
ReplyDeleteoh wow that is soon!!! can you please take me with you so I only have to live here through 1 last year of hell - hahahaha!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe we only get a month of living near each other. 1 week of which I won't even be there for. That's just wrong. But OMG 1 and a half months till you move to Italy! You're going to have such a great time!!
ReplyDeleteKeith and I love taco soup! And it's so easy to make too. They had pumkin creamer at the commissary last month and when I went back to get some more, it was gone! I was so disappointed. I'll have to try the pumpkin eggnog, sounds delish.
ReplyDeleteHa! I think I like the scarf and that's about it! I wish my husband were that dedicated when he wants to lose weight because then it would be easier for me to eat healthier. I have to count calories when I'm trying to lose weight or else it won't happen. I'm really good at it though. I always guess the amount in the food before looking at the label (it's a little game I like to play) and I'm usually right on or pretty close!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to take a stand and say that Eggnog is just wrong. blech.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, your hair looks fab in the post below!
I just gave you an award, go look! :)
